I think DC is smart enough to know bringing him back will likely result in something like Indiana Jones 5. 3 hours of some old guy acting like he is 20.

They wanted him back for Nostalgia bucks and so that he can lead Batgirl like it’s Batman Beyond. Now the film he had a bigger role in has been canceled, so he just comes back because.

yeah there's clearly a role for Keaton as a Batman Beyond style Bruce, but def not a solo gig
 
So wait...how the fuck was all this supposed to work?

Wasn't Batgirl supposed to come out before Flash? But why would there be a Batgirl universe with a Michael Keaton Batman if the Flash film hadn't already come out and created it through Flashpoint shenanigans?

Seriously Michael Keaton in this movie gives me the vibe of Bruce Willis in any of those direct to DVD movies he starred in, this face in particular combined with the shit cgi really sells that to me

I legit can't fucking wait for this movie. Comic books movies are supposed to be this campy, give me more of those. Fuck all the one liners, 3 hours long, family centered CGI heavy bullshit.

Oh wait. Still I'll be watching more DC than Marvel this year, so fuck it, I'm hyped. I'd have preferred a blonde Kara but whatever.

Nah it's Flashpoint with lots of changes. This movie has been in the works for a long time even before Spiderman joined the MCU I want to say, with the plan to always do Flashpoint for some reason.

Some of the changes for any one that cares
No super powered heroes
Superman getting replaced with Supergirl but everything else looks the same so far with her
Zod being the main villain rather than a war between Aquaman and Wonder Woman
Batman being Batman 89 rather than Thomas Wayne Batman
Flash not replacing the Flash of that timeline
No Eobard Thawne and Cyborg

There is a animated movie based on Flashpoint which is very close to the comic with a number of cuts for running time, worth checking out.

If No Way Home was about Age of Ultron Quicksilver teaming up with Affleck Daredevil to fight Doctor Doom from the last FF, or something. Looks like a real treat for viewers who will indiscriminately watch anything. I'd be a lot more excited for a movie where Phoenix Joker teams up with Arnie Freeze or something.

They're actually going through with ending the whole trashfire with yet another setup for movies that aren't going to be made. I wonder if it will make enough money to pay for the superbowl ad time.

It could apply to both really.

I still can’t get over that this is the first flash movie ever made. It’d be like if the first Spider-Man movie was about Spiderman teaming up with multiple variants of Hulks and Black Widow to fight Red Skull

Unfortunately, that doesn't matter to normies who are unfamiliar with the Flashpoint arc or MCU stans. All that matters is what came out first and they will say it's DC riding Marvel's coattails again.

Now is it just me or does this Supergirl look like if the Kiwi actor from Deadpool 2 trooned out?
