@Basic Blond Boy To be fair Robin sort of was teased in Nolan's trilogy with Joseph gordon Levitt's character in Rises so that's the closest there was to a Robin.

Lady Gaga
Man, that's a name I haven't heard of in years. Crazy to see her playing Harley Quinn. Well, DC has the LGBT community on lock with her. Bring in Madonna and they'll camp out in droves at the movie theaters.
Looks like Two Face is set to appear in Joker 2

I take this is a squeal to the Joker? Eh.... having not seen the movie it's weird seeing images like this. It's like fanboys invaded the movie set and the director decide to keep it in.

So I saw a new series titled Gotham Knights has just started.

Good Lord it is trash of the first order. I grew out of "so bad it's good" years ago as free time is so precious these days that even ironically watching trash feels like I'm squandering it. That said, I'm almost tempted to go back to this just so I can share with you all how awful it is. We're talking Batwoman levels of bad. POSSIBLY MORE!

I tapped out about half-way through the first episode around when Harvey Dent told a detective not to deadname a FtM trans character and sent him out of the room like a schoolboy (he was interrogating the trans character who is up on charges of murder).

Viewer advisory: We have gone full identity politics here.

I don't know where this will go. Characters are written in the broadest strokes imaginable. Evil school bully is evil. Character beats are telegraphed like an eight year old at his first karate class. And as to the characters themselves? Well the main one is an orphan adopted by Bruce Wayne but I think he's an original character created for the show. There's no sign of the traditional robins in the first episode that I saw. Other characters are bizarre distortions of existing characters. We have a pre-disfigurement Harvey Dent who has no presence that suggests he could be threatening one day. Stephanie Brown is a girl at the Wayne kid's expensive school who dates said bully, is a genius hacker but sadly shows no signs so far of liking waffles. Meanwhile I think the other kids are supposed to be the children of villains? One is a girl who was born in Arkham asylum and is apparently Joker's daughter. There IS a character named "Joker's Daughter" in the comics but it's not clear she actually is and nor is she much like this character.

Oh why am I writing so much. I made it through half an episode. I think I may watch more and report back but I'm not sure I can.

EDIT: We need Jlongbone to do a reaction series on it.

Everytime someone talks about Gotham Knights, I remember that Misha Collins plays Harvey Dent in this shit-show & laugh every time remember the book incident.

If you don't know why, here's some Misha Collins lore.
Misha Collins' wife wrote a book called "The Threesome Handbook" she has never comfirmed or denied if the guy she talks about in her book is Misha or an ex partner, & I think in some SPN event he did mentioned about being in orgies during a panel (I only know about this due to the SPN blogs are loving Soldier Boy which I found out on 4chan while watching The Boys).

TL;DR:

>Wife literally brags about watching him get fucked by other guys & writes a whole book on it.

>News breaks & after years of "pretending" to be a faggot (Bi), the actor had to come out & say he was "straight". Fans were pissed cause they saw him take cock.

>Mind you, that this is the same Misha Collins who is so beloved by the subhuman troglodytes that are the Supernatural fangirls, that if he wanted to do his own version of Jan 6th of 2022 to the government, he could have more than a million awkward women in their late 20's y/o storming the Capitol in less than 48 hours. Still not as much as Jensen Ackles, who, if wanted to, can do his own version of Summer of Love of 2020 with 10x as many fangirls.

While you're waiting on her, Thorias Unlimited and Disparu are currently covering it.
Thanks. Going to check them out.

Well I don't know whether to give you Lunacy, Horrifying or a thumbs up for the sheer entertainment value of that post. It was already near impossible to take him seriously as Harvey Dent without knowing all that!

Happy to help. I don't think any other actors in this show have any lolcowdom to them that I know of, but Misha Collins have pretty much soured any role he might be in, without me remembering him for this.

Alright DC Cucks, we got some 4chan leaks:
Superman: Legacy
>Casting calls for Jimmy Olsen and Lex Luthor have been sent out.
>Jimmy’s age range is 20s-30s.

The Authority
>Written by Jeremy Slater.
>Matthew Vaughn in talks to direct.

Creature Commandos
>Will feature Dinosaur Island.

Justice League: New Frontier
>Final film in Chapter 1 of the DCU.
>Will feature the Centre as the main villain.
>Will be set in present day and modernize the original story.

Reeves-Verse
>Spinoffs for Poison Ivy, Clayface and Scarecrow in development.
>Poison Ivy spinoff will be based on the short story “Rappaccini’s Daughter.”

General
>Gunn had meetings with the Justice League cast, excluding Ray Fisher.
>He offered Henry Cavill and Jason Momoa new roles - Cavill stormed out angry, Momoa happily accepted it. Unclear what Gal Gadot was offered.
>He offered Ben Affleck to direct - he said no.
>Ezra Miller is on the fence - he told WB that he would wear a Flash-branded ankle monitor to track his every step and show that he is getting better.
>The Suicide Squad is technically the first DCU movie – You just have to ignore the DCEU connections.
>Margot Robbie’s Harley and everyone else from The Suicide Squad are safe because Gunn loves them.
>There are four secret projects in development.
>The release plan is for two films and two shows per year.

Honestly the only thing I care about is the stuff with the Reeves Batman information. I'm curious if the Clayface spinoff is that movie Mike Flannigan wanted to make?

They are doing two movies a year. Thats 8-10 films per chapter since Gunn said each chapter is 4-5 years.

4chan spoilers are fun to read but come on....

They are really dropping the ball if Brainiac isn't one of their first major villains

There is also 2 shows a year, so that will pick up the slack. In saying that, the movie schedule was what Marvel did for years, so it wouldn’t be too surprising.

Agree, though do you have Brainiac be a Superman villain or a Justice League?

Personally, I hope Superman: Legacy goes with Bizarro as the villain. I think he is the perfect threat to establish Superman. A product of Lex Luthor that was a bust, so he can be trained to do good. I think it would bring out Superman’s humanity to have his first foe be a non-threat if he uses his head and is genuinely nice to the guy. Plus, like Brainiac, it is an absolute crime this character has not shown up in films, as his name is also a general term.

I would not be surprised if the Cavill one about him storming out in angry about being replaced and offered a new role is true. And Gunn is just trying to save face on Twitter.

He should be angry. Rarely have we seen such a perfect match between actor and role as Cavil and Superman. Nor such a stupid reason to let such an actor go. Dude was perfect and hampered only by an overly sombre script.

I think the first thing I saw Cavill in was The Man From U.N.C.L.E. Frankly, a better Bond-style film than Bond that deserved a sequel. It also helped that it had a nice dynamic between two main characters rather than Bond's solo lead. They played off each other well.

Weird irony is that everyone wanted him to become the next Bond, but No Time To Die was so shit that people want no one to become the next Bond anymore.

I notice certain subReddits seem to be downplaying Cavill's role as Superman as in their saying stuff like "he wasn't like Robert Downey Jr it was just internet hype" even through I'm pretty sure he was a very popular as Superman. Like I said I'm pretty sure Gunn is just saving face at this point.
Also this is why I don't trust Gunn moving forward with the DCEU.

It honestly is mostly internet hype. I was talking to a family friend yesterday and they were trying to recall him and could only remember him by the Witcher. I doubt if I asked anyone in my family about him besides my dad, they would know him as Superman.

Zach’s movies never pulled in tremendous numbers and were pretty unanimously hated till recently. Actually, they still are, they just have this weird Synder cult now.

Mainstream-wise, I think we have to acknowledge that DC is a dead brand. Every now and again, they shoot out a masterpiece that gets wide attention, but they are largely dismissed by normies. On the plus side, they have a super strong cult following. I believe this is why Cavill seems so important.

But still do you think replacing Cavill is improving anything?
