My knowledge with Blue Beetle stops at Injustice 2 (both comics and game), and the actor is the main character in the anime Cobra Kai.
I imagine this movie will feature the new DCEU timeline helmed by James Gunn? Which I'm totally down for, the last DCEU movie I watched was Shazam 2 and my God, while I genuinely enjoyed the first movie, this one was atrocious.
They also included one of my "scratching head moments" regarding Shazam and Wonder Woman: if they were to have sex, would it count as pedophilia? Considering that Billy and Shazam swaps places when he says the magic word.

Regarding Gunn's DCEU slate, I'm looking forward to that Creature Commandos animated show, reminds me of the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (which I wish to be adapted in animated form in the future).

Everything I've heard about the Flash movie from people who have seen it is that it truly is meant to be one of the best capeshit movies of all time, with really strong testing. While you didn't ask, but what is being said about Aquaman 2 is it is a mess right now.

But same boat, won't pay to see that movie knowing money will being going to Ezra Miller, will pirate it however.

I legit cannot wait to see the theater empty for this movie. I usually go in one of those small town theaters where you get enough attendance to pay for the bills, and usually they're choke full of kids when there's an animated movie or a Marvel movie.

I just find it absolutely laughable that they keep shoving Batman in our face in a movie that’s supposed to be about the Flash. Fucking hilarious.

It also shows how much they sick at marketing. Remember when Dawn of Justice was announced and they spoiled that both Wonder Woman and Doomsday would appear in it? This is happening again.

I don't think it's going to bomb as hard as Suckzam 2 did, but it's definitely going to bomb. Seeing Keaton Batman and Best Batmobile again will be great for us old geezers, but Gen Z who grew up with Baleman and Batfleck aren't going to care (for them it would be the equivalent of Adam West showing up in Steel).

I said I wouldn't watch any more of this show but I did.

The character drama in the latest episode was the trans character (FtM) being angry with her sister for having done some crimes. Only for the sister to break down and confess that the reason she had done it was so that she could pay for her "brother" to have a double mastectomy. I recall a line something like "do you recall how unhappy you were?" or "you're so much happier now". Something like that.

The show appears to think that amputating her sister's breasts somehow redeems her for working for a Gotham mob gang that terrorises ageing business owners for protection money.

Morality is fucked in this show and as for the message it sends out to any vulnerable young girls, it appears to be: "you'll be happier if you mutilate yourself".

FWIW, the FtM is one of only two members of the cast who seem to actually be able to act. I actually kind of like her if it wasn't for the terrible example she is setting for vulnerable girls. The other is the "Joker's Daughter". And I'm not just talking the kids. The adults are so bad! Especially dude playing Harvey Dent who is about as threatening as a blancmange. Like the guy could literally irl be pointing a gun at me and I don't think I'd feel threatened.

Oh, I said "kids" in the last paragraph. Their ages are all over the place. I'm pretty sure Stephanie Brown is pushing 30, yet she walks around in a school uniform the whole time. And I haven't seen her eat a waffle, once!

EDIT: Called it! The actress playing the school girl is 30 this year. Why do people think it's believable to have people that age playing school kids?
