The funniest thing about Harley is she used to be paraded around for the coomers but has since become an unironic girlboss character lazy femoids emulate. She has become what Patrick Bateman is to losers based Sigmas.
And the fact she is the only thing that has brand recognition aside from Batman means she'll continue to be shoved into garbage without fail.

I'm still in absolute awe they haven't made a Batman Beyond movie with Keaton as old Batman. They have the animated show and animated movies to draw from. Surely this has been brought up at least once in a meeting. It's what I was expecting when Pattinson was first announced as Batman, he had the build and looked close enough to Terry that it would have worked for me. Some automated process will scrape this idea and they'll make it in the next three years probably.

Batgirl WAS going to be a bastardized version of Batman Beyond. Keaton's Batman was going to be the mentor for the black CW flavored lesbian, but it got so much flak it was canned.
If you think we would ever get a non pozzed version of Beyond you are delusional.

That's depressing, I don't even remember Batgirl. I could see a white Terry and white mentor being done but this is modern media we're talking about so somebody (probably a redhead) is going to turned black. I'll eat a black catgirl if they find a better actress than that broad from the recent Batman flick if it means decent Batman Beyond kino. But I suppose I'm just asking for rainbows huh?

Batman Beyond has been one of those films that has been in production hell for decades. They have wanted to make one, as early as the 2000s, but nothing ever came together. In recent years, a Batman Beyond movie was announced, but is totally dead in the water as Flash's success was the green light for it, and well...

Information on the 2000-2001 production can be found, as scarce as it is. Basically, it would have been a continuation of the Schumacher-verse, but was canned and plans would move over to Nolan's films:
Batman Beyond was a proposed live action follow up from Joel Schumacher's Batman & Robin. The film was toyed with in 2000 and 2001, even having a first draft written, but was ultimately left unmade leaving the franchise further in limbo until being rebooted in 2005 with Batman Begins.

There were a lot of cancelled projects made for the Burton/Schumacher universe. Original proposed versions of Catwoman and Batman vs. Superman were also greenlit, but were also cancelled. Only the former turned into a movie that has little to nothing to do with the Batman universe and was panned by almost everyone, especially star Halie Berry, who happily accepted the Razzies for Worst Actress and Worst Picture. The other was eventually made into the Snyderverse, and we know how that turned out.

Troons are now in the Harley cartoon show. I actually liked the show because it felt like Venture Bros meets TAS. Also I always shipped Harley/Ivy.

I hate troons. Why can’t lesbians have something without troons.
Because Pedowood wants to hire more pedophiles. That's why. And I for one wish for Total Hollywood Death

"Truth, justice and a better tomorrow" might as well just have been "we know the sort of people that buy our comics and we've committed to them."

Just saw Blue Beetle, it was alright.

The villain was another terrible OC, something I really do not understand about recent DC films as every film since Black Adam uses an original villain. The villain was Victoria Kord, a sister to Ted Kord, the original Blue Beetle. She wants the scarab to design military gear for who cares? I could barely follow her plot, she was such a non-entity. There was also some other villain that looked like a Pacific Rim reject who had some barely explained backstory.

The heart of the film was definitely the family. The Reyes carried hard and made a super bland film have some heart. I was shocked at one of the scenes as the movie pulled the trigger and allowed for some real emotion, even followed up on it with a really cool dream sequence. You really grow to like the family as they have emotions beyond MCU quips.

Another thing I will give it credit for is not dunking on Ted. I really thought he was going to be hated on especially with the Mexican commentary, but even the conspiracy, hate Batman character payed his respects to Ted.

Beyond that, the movie does have some Mexican vs whitey in it and a lot of rich vs poor, but none of it was too terrible to me. Overall, it was a nothing film with some heart sprinkled in, but would not blame anyone for falling asleep during it.

Question: should Superman acab the Police?

Complete autism.

But if I was going to reboot superman, one of the powers I would remove was super hearing, this only created more problems than anything. I hate the idea of superman being a godly being ignoring problems, let him just be a super man doing what he can but without being obligated by guilt/responsability of his powers.

There's no real issue with Superman having super-senses, problem is when DC makes it so that he can hear everything around the WHOLE world. If he can hear shit happening 100 miles away or something, I would not care but they take it to ridiculous levels. It's already ridiculous that Superman isn't patrolling the world 24/7 when he's supposed to be able to go for months if not years without tiring or needing sustenance.

Is DC marketing strategy intentionally trying to black mail the audience into buying tickets? First, they threaten Micheal Keaton's Batman fans by saying they won't get a Batman beyond movie if the flash flop. Now they are saying you get fewer Latinos in Hollywood if you let the blue beetle flop.
