If the Supergirl leaks are accurate, we are looking at a movie that is more preachy than She-Hulk and birds of prey, including a pro-slut message. Yes that will make Zack Synder DC look good compared to James Gunn DC. Even Birds of prey shy away from being an alcoholic slut empowering. If anything Harley Quinn learning to be less of an alcoholic slut was her story arc. Not sure how to fully feel about the game yet. One thing that concerns me is the lack of playable characters, which is odd for a LEGO title. Apparently there are only 7, 9 with DLC, being:

1. Batman
2. Commissioner Gordon
3. Robin
4. Batgirl
5. Catwoman
6. Talia Al Ghul
7. Nightwing
8. Joker (DLC)
9. Harley Quinn (DLC)

Talia is definitely the standout of the roster as the odd choice. Surprised they didn’t just go with Redhood as he is popular and unique enough to be worth a slot.

Partially ninja'd by @XYZpdq Jr. but Adam was made from dust/clay in Christian lore. Eve was made from Adam. It's fitting that Wonder Woman should be made thematically equal by being made similarly to Adam. Although in myth that would more equate her to Lillith.

Anyway, nobody in modern DC would dare to explore it in those terms as saying Wonder Woman is made equal to man via her origins would imply that other women were not. Don't think you can have one without the other.

I can't say from the short movie if her acting is good enough to do A-list work but just general feel for the character felt more instinctively like the Wonder Woman I would envisage.

Yes. In the Absolute Universe, she is the Hebrew (the OG) version of a golem. She can do what she wants and has opinions (as long as she does not go against the controller's desires) but she obeys whoever has the Mcguffin that controls her. In the normal DC Universe, what she is gets retconned all the time.

That's because she was a last minute casting swap. Originally, Antje Traue (Faora Ul from Man of Steel) was meant to play Wonder Woman, & Gal Gadot was meant to play Faora Ul. But then one of the either (I think Gal?) became pregnant & production delayed due to it. As such, the roles got swapped.
