They need to stop with the EDM remixes, it peaked with Deadpool &Wolverine.

Even in Current Year (kek), writers still want to pretend someone likes Kamala Khan types despite being universally reviled.
I finished watching the TAS of Batman and Supes as I didn't finish the shows back then. It's incredible how well it holds up even today, and how terrible Supes movies (and some cartoons) are lately. Supergurl will fail because it's literally impossible for Pedogunn to make an optimistic character.

It's always remixes these days. I took my brother to see the Mario Galaxy Movie in theaters last week, and not only was one of the trailers that Supergirl one with a remix, there was also a trailer for a movie called Forgotten Island. That trailer had a remix of Simple Mind's Don't You (Forget About Me) playing. GET IT?

I don't think anyone hates Melissa Benoist as Supergirl.
Hate is a strong word. I like Melissa Benoist and think she looks really great in the costume, but Supergirl in that show just had no character, Everything felt off. When I think of Supergirl, I don't think of girl-clark kent and that's what the show did. If I want a working-class Kara, give me Power Girl! But the writing isn't necessarily Melissa's fault. It's why I'm looking forward to the Supergirl movie so much. It's about time that angsty energy is present in the edgy teen sidekick of Superman. I am a fan of how DC Super Hero Girls portrayed Supergirl, and I like Superman TAS' Supergirl and Batman/Superman: Apokolyps' take. It seems like the new movie is closer in direction to those portrayals than the CW Supergirl, so I'm all on board.

For a moment I thought you meant that Kevin Conroy was the VA for both shows and I had made myself look silly. But looking it up it's someone called Dietrich Bader and he is 6'2" so I was right about that. I recognise he's the guy in your photo but I've no idea what that's from. I don't know him outside B:tBatB, I think.
Also he was bodybuilder big for a while because he did max his pump.

Speaking of:
Funny how the only DC movies that people overwhelmingly like are side projects like the LEGO Batman movie.
Why?
Because it's a stupid little side project and they can write whatever nonsense plot they want with 4th wall breaks and other weird shit.
It's fresh, it's not another boring villain with over 9000 powerlevel who tries to terraform Earth or some crap like that.

They waste so much fucking money on those live action movies, sometimes $300+ million, and they're mostly boring as fuck.
If they want this superhero shit to last, they need to embrace the stupidity of these comic book universes.
Don't make another save the world plot, saving the world is the most boring thing in movies.

Remember that Legion TV show?
I only saw season 1 but it was fucking brilliant. It's X-Men but so different.
Looked unique, the story was fresh, the villain was one of a kind, never saw anything like it before in live action, it's art.
They probably fucked it up in later seasons like they always do but season 1 is, as the kids say, peak fire.
Make more of that and not another movie where the ending is a DBZ fight.

That's my rant for today.

Legion season 1 was good, but it eventually dragged out its premise for too long. Telepaths make for good villains because by the time you figure out you're fighting a telepath, you've already lost. Jessica Jones season 1 was also able to do a lot with very little just by having a guy who can control minds be the villain. And, of course, Cassandra Nova was great in Deadpool vs. Wolverine (at least until she became a human sky laser in the last act).

DC is not even hiding the fact that they are trying to cash in on Squirrel Girl's new popularity with the THICC Supergirl meme. They could have at least cast Bryce Dallas Howard for the Supergirl role instead of choosing James Gunn's preferred Dude looking Supergirl.

Gotta love how DC is continuing to get raped by knockoffs almost 1:1 doing their stories and characters and getting the normie praise WB is starved for.

I saw on Invincible they did the Infinite Crisis “three Supermen fly through planet then an older Superman gets inbetween the younger one and an overpowered one then gets a fatal beating.” Very kino, hate to see Robert Kirkman (cuck fetishist currently ruining Transformers) ever get a W but WB is so much more despicable.

It’s The Boys all over again, a dollar store knockoff does your thing (Earth 3) and gets away with it because you’re so fucking incompetent, every single person involved refuses to put fry in bag and adapt the source material.

The boys has been consistently worse with each season since the first. I don't think it applies exclusively to the boys though. Almost all live action television has been fucked by studios trying to make more money, resulting in characters that loop arcs and never change. Same thing happened in stranger things and cobra kai (and I loved season 1-2 of cobra kai).

I would have said Peacemaker S2 was peak until they botched the ending, and the future with Lanterns really doesn't look good. I'm holding out for the Supergirl movie.

Game looks promising seeing as how rocksteady dropped the ball hard with the suicide squad game. Also seen they are adding a costume for absolute batman so that was pretty cool.
That Absolute skin is gonna move a lot of copies.

You’d think Todd and the merch outlets would’ve gotten with the program by now and mined it.

Costumes look cool, there are supposed to be 100+ so I am really hoping for some unique ones. Personally, top ask for Batman currently would be a The Batman (2004) skin, would round out the animated costumes nicely since we are confirmed to be getting BTAS, Brave & The Bold, and even Merry Little Batman. Would also love a Batbunny skin in reference to the Hatter section from Arkham City.

Other characters have been less shown off for skins. We know Dick is getting his 70s Discowing skin

Nightwing really just needs Young Justice and Teen Titans both 03 and Go skins. Same for Robin if they are different characters.

I hate base-game Catwoman being a weird mix of Michelle Pfeiffer and Zoey Kravitz I don't think the black skin and Burton look goes well, so I am hoping for some more traditional suits. Arkham and Animated Series are givens, would love BTB&TB, and of course 04 would be excellent. The Harley Quinn series has one of the better designs for her as well.

Batgirl, I just need the 04 skin, Adam West, LEGO Batman Movie, and the Burnside suit. Really, I just like the Purple look over the black, makes her more distinct from Batman.

Harley Quinn, will make a very specific request and say they better have the cute chef suit from Prelude to the Wedding.

Wish they made Harley Quinn look like this more often rather than trying and failing to make her have massive sex appeal. Will also throw in using the LEGO Movie 2 redesign of her Suicide Squad outfit:

For Joker, I don't really got anything. From what I can tell Ledger and Nicholson are already in, along with Arkham. We all know Animated Series, Beyond, 60s, and likely BB&TB are in as well (would also be surprised if 2019 isn't in). 04 would be nice like always given how distinct that one is, both in his restraint vest and usual attire. Obviously Tropical Joker would be great to bring back for the Killing Joke reference.

For Gordon, who cares. We will probably get black BTAS Gordon and Arkham Gordon.

For Talia, what does ones even give this bitch? As long as there is a black suit, you pretty much get every common depiction of her.
