Frankly this should've been a remaster rather than a remake, most of the changes were between pointless and retarded. The 3D zero-G ruined many levels that were made for the old zero-G system but these lazy shits didn't remake the levels to compensate for that, except for the trench and leviathan near the com-array where they replaced the epic trench stage and the cannons for some bullshit short segment.
Also they completely ruined hammond, he was supposed to be a figure of authority not your buddy, and the way he acts and how kendra manipulates you makes you think he's gonna fuck you over. Also
he died fighting a brute, now he gets rekt by a slasher, fucking weak.
I'm glad they didnt raceswap mercer for muh evil whitey man, tho I don't get why they turned kyne into a twink. Some are sperging about nicole but she was already made uglier and older in DS2, tho now she looks more like isaac's mom. He also got changed and made uglier, don't know why. As for kendra she's flat now, all female characters are flat and meh looking because we can't have pretty ladies in vidya anymore, might trigger some morbidly obese dangerhair or a tranny who will never pass, same shit drunkman said in tlou2 where every actress looked 2x better than the characters based on them. Also they made kendra, the other main antagonist, a lesbian, is that a dig at terf lesbians? who knows, tho
she was way more a bitch in the original game, that part with isaac trying to save her before the hivemind kills her was completely out of character given what she done to him, and also the kill scene is way more tame, probably because muh feelz.
They didn't bring DS3's awesome craft system which was one of the few saving graces of that game, bummer. They also cut isaac's signature cool af folding helmet for the old one, why? no idea, that's the first thing I thought they would retconn given that it already existed in tau volantis 200 years ago.
