Hatkeks are unable to comprehend deadlock kino. They just can't grasp the genius design of icefrog and the intuitive yet deep mechanics placed within. Truly deadlock will be an experience that will define gaming and surely it will become the third pillar of valve kino. It's almost certainly this. Valve probably doesn't actually give a shit about randos talking about it, but enjoy the word-of-mouth and excuse to shut down any journo coverage of what is obviously a very rough playtest. Invites have basically gone free-for-all and the only limited factor is your friends list.
I got invited back in June and the game itself is alright. It's basically Monday Night Combat + DotA + TF2. I just don't have a lot of faith in current era Valve to see the project actually succeed and not just get pimped out to sell hats and other cosmetics.

In my opinion it's justified because the same thing can end up happening to Deadlock. Everyone can clap at the new shiny thing but what happens when Valve gets bored of it and moves on to the next new shiny thing?

People can hate TF2 all they want that's fine but if they sweep the problem under the rug Valve will realize they can get away with it and they will continue to pull this with other games

I'll admit my post comes off as a little MATI, but I'm just still a little salty about how troon-infested TF2 is in current year. While I can see where people are coming from when they rightfully complain about the bot infestation, I don't think shitting on an unfinished Deadlock solves anything. Whoever is/was maintaining TF2 likely was not working on Deadlock. Besides, I thought the bot issue has been resolved for about a month now.

How infested? last time I played there were ACK! sprays and signs all over, nobody got banned for those.

I dont understand how /v/ of all places online is the place that is hyping it up the most.

I haven't gone on /v/ in years but I had to go to confirm what I thought the reason would be and it's basically the first thing I saw,

People come in and they're usually young, they want to fit in to communities so they show up and say things like "How does Valve keep making well crafted games?" despite the fact that Valve has been shitting out games as well as ruining what they have already, CS2 is worse than CSGO, Artifact is bad/dumb, Dota 2 got ruined a really long time ago and has never recovered and Half Life Alyx had some cool gimmicks that could last an hour then it had like 5+ hours of walking down corridors (didn't play for longer than 6 hours because it was boring as hell).

It's the same shit that goes on with people who don't know video games at all were going around saying Blizzard games are good or Bethesda games are good, people who weren't there when they actually were good but they want to act like they were so they just spew opinions that aren't theirs and extend the good reputation of a company well past the point where they lost everything that earned them that good reputation. These people make up the majority of "gaming communities" and ruin video games for everyone, but hey, at least retards can get their upvotes/(you)s.

I wish Valve would go back to making amazing singleplayer games such as Half Life and Portal instead of more moba shooter slop. We have enough multiplayer shooters. Valve isn't adding anything new with this game.
