Dealing with the compromise

Some random troon who just showed up. Still can't get that list to load. I'd love to see who was Exceptional enough to delete their account.

I only recognized a few of the names. The ones I remember are Testacles Maximus, Dynastia, Jesus Wept, tsundereaddict, blastdoors41. It was about 20 people. Give Her the D is also trying to delete. Gengar is toying with the idea.

That is a fair point, I might be influenced by the fact that when I signed up IN GIANT RED LETTERS it warned it was the point of no return and then helpfully told me exacty what to do to help protect myself such as a burner account. I probably should consider the sign up being that helpfull might have not always been fhe case.
I guess Oldfags signed up when KF was a more innocent place, before it turned into...whatever the fuck this crazy site is.

Also, Null is one guy who lives god knows where for god knows what reasons, and keeps KF running because...? He warns new sign ups about covering their asses, his income from this place is basically tips and he doesn't have to give a fuck about any of this: the site maybe a community but it's his forum and he can do whatever the fuck he wants with it.

(Can I have my shill sticker now?)

Edit for spelling

I'm not trying to downplay the worry and distress that some members must be feeling due to the compromise.

However one serious negative effect on the site, would be the end of plans to raise revenue such as the introduction of a currency and account upgrades, that Null mentioned in the original post. If people want this site to continue then it needs to be suitably funded.

Also I know nothing about website security, however I imagine money would make it easier.

Meh, if you lurk as much as you're told to before joining, you should have taken any precautions you think are necessary before joining. As null says, any site can be compromised. Either way, I really appreciate the transparency.
Indeed. I have changed my avi to show how little I have to hide.

When I try to reverse lookup what I think are ipv6 addresses, no results are returned. I tried a couple different lookup sites and a couple different addresses from the ipout file. What am I doing wrong?
You have to fix the exceptional formatting before they'll be recognized as valid IPv6 addresses... they're supposed to have 4 digits per grouping, not 2 digits.

A friendly advice.

The next wont be more IP.

It will be to give others tools to break privacy.
Crowdsourced and spoon fed to those you play with

The game remains comrades.

I knew Momo was behind this. This is what happens when you push a cosplayer too far.

Early is smart.
Archives will be made and distributed.

Under attack null? Cloudflare wont fix this.
Unlike whichever lolcow you are or are trollshielding, we aren't professional scammers with closets full of skeletons. We don't have a trail of aliases. We don't have suppressed rape convictions on our records we're scared will come out. That's why almost nobody gives a shit that you are going to doxxxXxx them.
