Death Battle - Analyzing weapons, armor, and skills on the Internet since 2010.

It begins.
This is from /co/. Death battle is holding a contest where only 1 out of 32 combatants will get an episode on death battle. Right now, the first vote is being held on which 2 should be voted out.

Didn't watch the episode, just the result and Buffy won.

Next time is Dante from Devil May Cry and Clive from Final Fantasy XVI. Don't know anything about XVI so no clue how good of a match up it is.

Haven't finished watching it yet, but the guy they got for Blade (Fik-Shun Stegall)...that ain't it chief. The fight choreography so far isn't too good either (except for when discount Blade slammed that Asian vampire into the table, that was hilarious). The vampire DJ was the best thing in the video so far and he was barely on screen, man was on the beat and took his death like a champ.
OH GOD I heard discount Blade's voice, brother this is a complete miscast, I just noticed his gay ass topknot(?) too.
Honestly I'm struggling to finish it, the shots are giving me a headache, whoever did the fight choreography...is probably a professional because I've seen this type of fight choreography in almost every single action movie so far, seems foreigners (to a mutt like me) are one of the few who know how to make interesting fight scenes.
Oh for fucks sake they just repurposed the lines from the first movie but very poorly, I know Death Battles are supposed to have references but they usually make new lines or more tastefully repurpose/rework lines they've used before, this is just lazy.
The actor for Buffy is nice to look at at least, never saw Buffy but the actor was pretty in the show so at least they got that right, also...the fuck you mean she won? Honestly Blade was beating her ass most of the time and what, she got a lucky hit in and it's over? Damn this was the worst DB I've seen in a while. I don't know how Buffy scales to Blade and I'm sure as shit not going to listen to DB explain it since they their explanation wrong most of the time unless it's an obvious winner from the matchup alone, but even if Buffy can beat Blade in most scenarios, this was just show poorly, which is the most important thing to Death Battles.
3/10.

I'm more familiar with Buffy than Blade, and even I'm surprised she won. They pretty much treated her scythe as an instant win condition, even after she was shot by the Breathing Gun. Then there's the end where they say that all of Blade's special moves wouldn't do a thing to Buffy since she killed a god or something like that.

Lol, lmao even. Classic for DB really, like the conversation when Kratos vs Asura dropped. "Well he did this one feat once so we're going to take it completely out of context and say that Kratos can destroy 9 GORILLIAN universes." Or how they completely fucked up Omni-Man vs Bardock. Nothing new and while I do get annoyed by shitty comparisons, I'd care a lot less if it wasn't so mediocrely made.

Saying Buffy dodged lasers sp she is faster thanlight (imagine her doing 8~ laps around the world in 1 second) with a straight face is why people make fun of powerscalers.

I don't know what you mean, they're totally rational.

(For those unaware, 1-C means "Low Complex Multiverse" and I have zero idea what the fuck "complex" multiversal means either.)

"Complex" is a made up term by versus battle wikia powerscalers because the "multiversal tier" became so inflated that it turned meaningless so you have to separate different levels of multiversals. Note that even withing multiversal tier you have "low multiversal" (2 to 1000 universes), multiversal (more than 1000 universes) and high multiversal (infinite multiverses).

The only logical step was, of course, dimensions. So "low complex" means you can destroy up to 6 dimensions, "medium complex" means you destroy up to 9 dimensions and 11 dimensions. After that you become "hyperversal" (more than 12 dimensions but still infinite) and "high hyperversal" (infinite dimensions).

Why is tucker foley 1-C? Because danny phantom has weird ghost dimension shenanigans so "threats are multidimensional therefore multiversal" and Tucker scales to Danny (???) meaning he can destroy +1000 universes with 6 dimensions and is literally stronger than Goku.

Yes. This is the current state of online battleboarding and Death Battle is getting there.

Honestly with all that Bakugo stuff happening I totally forgot Clive's video was coming today.
