Have they not rejected universal Bleach twice already? While they bought planet level YYH when Hiei was on? Even with their constant retcons there is no way they would underhandedly walk back their two biggest anime episodes.

Madara vs Aizen was done a while ago bro. The meta is completely different to what it was back then. Fucking chosen undead is universal level now. If they just cap Ichigo at planet level, it's because he doesn't need anything further to beat Yusuke.

Madara vs. Aizen was a crime. It's so one-sided that it isn't even a fight. Aizen straight up bodies Madara in every way.

Ichigo also bodies Yusuke. The crux is that Ichigo might win or lose because we don't know his ceiling. Ichigo's True Bankai is unknown to this day and that coin toss can go either way.

The short answer is, it's generally accepted for a variety of reasons that most Bleach characters could single handedly destroy the entire Naruto cast if they chose to, that aren't named "Shibai" specifically. (And Shibai is more a concept than a character really...) If you go by just feats alone, they're just completely outclassed. Especially since Bleach in its final arc gets very bizarre and the powers characters have get very conceptual.

First off, people seem to forget most of the Narutoverse are just normal humans with magic powers. Soul Reapers are not human. They're souls and are made up of riryoku and while they have human parts, they're a lot more durable. They also have spiritual pressure from just their presence. Aizen's spiritual pressure is so huge, people just vaporized by coming near him. He has to purposely suppress his own power to not just instantly vaporize anyone who gets too close. Madara literally cannot even touch him without dying. Maybe the Juubi changes this, maybe it doesn't, but either way he shouldn't be able to even come near him. That also goes the same for a lot of Bleach characters.

Genjutsu also works by disrupting one's chakra flow. If you don't have chakra to disrupt, genjutsu cannot effect you. Nobody outside of the Narutoverse has a chakra network thanks to them introducing Kaguya and the Divine Tree, making chakra networks exclusively coming from Ootsutsuki specifically. So Tsukuyomi, and any genjutsu is off the table. The Sharingan's trademark ability is useless. Whereas Kyouka Suigetsu has no weaknesses. The only weakness it HAD was it can be undone by touching Aizen's sword. However, Aizen fuses with his sword so Kyouka Suigetsu can't really be undone anymore unless he turns it off? I don't even know how it works anymore to be honest. As long as you're close enough to Aizen, it seems like it'll work.

Their immorality is also vastly different. Madara almost died from 8 Gates Guy, meaning despite great difficulty, he can go down. Aizen has proven to be far more durable. Not even Bleach's God can put him down for good. He can supposedly die, but it's so incredibly difficult that nobody bothers. By the end of series, Aizen really doesn't have many weaknesses. There's nothing in Madara's toolkit that can take Aizen down.

As far as Ichigo goes, it's not even close either. Ichigo by the end of the series is casually vaporizing mountains and buildings by gently swinging his sword if he's not careful enough. He also doesn't have a ceiling, we don't know what Ichigo can really do because we never see his Bankai.

So is it like people can't see or survive going near a Soul Reaper unless they're also a Soul Reaper?

So it's like how Aizawa couldn't disable something like Haki because his Quirk only works on other Quirks.

Doesn't Naruto have a metric fuckton of Chakra thanks to Kurama? Does Ichigo have an even higher amount of spiritual energy?

Normal people cannot see a soul reaper. That's another reason why Limbo having any effect is also BS, it's a soul based technique so there's no reason a Soul Reaper shouldn't be able to see it or at least detect it.

Depends on the Soul Reaper. Normal people cannot survive going near very strong Soul Reapers. They have to either consciously or with the many devices available, suppress their own spiritual pressure. They actually have quite a few devices that let them go around the human world without blowing everything up.

Exactly. Genjutsu is very specific and so is chakra. It's not like chakra or ki in every other anime. Naruto's chakra specifically comes from the divine tree.

At this point, I don't know what could kill Aizen for good, or if anything can. Despite everything that happens to the guy, putting him down seems to be impossible. Even sealing him was fairly difficult.

They're comparable at absolute minimum, with Ichigo probably being stronger for a whole host of reasons. Yes, Ichigo does have that much spiritual energy. In fact he has so much spiritual energy, the last chapter of the manga actually alludes to this a really big problem for him when he eventually dies.

That being said, the real problem is their ceilings. We KNOW current day Ichigo and Naruto are both in their 30s. They're pretty much the same age and we know thanks to Boruto, that Final Battle Naruto is the strongest Naruto ever is and ever gets. Naruto mastered all of his powers. Meanwhile, Final Battle Ichigo is just using his real powers for the first time. So theoretically, Ichigo in his 30s should actually be stronger than he used to be.

Yeah, that kind of stuff is great to laugh at. VSBW on its own would supply near-endless content. Like how every Disney character is universal because of Kingdom Hearts, even if they basically just breathe the same air as Sora.
