Where's the content? I feel like anytime there's a thread on a communist community on here anymore it's done out of ideological spite rather than being genuinely funny.
As the person who documented Chapo on here before it went down, this community is not even remotely comparable in size or mental illness.

This makes this subreddit a promising place for politicow content, even compared to the rest of the site.

The US backed the Mujahedeen and funded the creation of Israel, the death toll at the hands of American imperialism and greed is easily in the millions. The war crimes the US and Israel have committed are far from genocide, but the denial of US war crimes once again shows a heavy bias.

Not to mention if you look at the life expectancy in Cambodia, it actually went from 23 when Pol Pot got power to 27 by the time Pol Pot left, which clearly shows a raise in living standards. I think you really need to do more research into history.

All I said was that they didn't condemn China for their role in supporting Pol Pot, because they support China uncritically and only condemn the American involvement in that disaster. The idea Pol Pot increased life expectancy in Cambodia is also laughable.

When Pol Pot got into power he had just started murdering everyone, so you had a very low life expectancy. When he left, he was done murdering people, so of course life expectancy went up.

That's not very accurate it increased well he was in office. It speaks more to the standards of a society that was built how it functions when it doesn't have a foreign neighbor actively invading or the biggest country in the world dropping chemical bombs. Do you unironically think that has no impact and somehow there can be such a radical increase in life expectancy without the proper systems put in place?

Literally you have an image that says he became prime minister in 63 and left power in 79 followed by a graph showing life expectancy beginning to fall in 63 and then rebounding in 79. Literally you posted evidence showing the exact opposite of what you wanted to show.

He killed a bunch of people. Life expectancy goes down. He stops doing that. Life expectancy goes up. People value life more now because horrible shit gave them a sense of perspective and life expectancy rises higher than it was originally.

That's not him raising life expectancy. That's him lowering it for the duration of his rule.
That's him being so obscenely shit people decided to be less shit after he left.
