Then she made two bad faith representation of my beliefs in the same post, and both of them conflicted with eachother, and I couldn't justify that as "She got distracted by another user and forgot who I am" anymore.

To be clear, I'm not saying she's a troll because I disagree with her. I'm saying she's a troll because she isn't even trying to achieve internal consistency when she's making shit up. If it were internally consistent, that could mean we have communication issues. If she can't even keep the story straight, she's not interested in what she's saying.

Yeah, and a child's body isn't designed to be brutally raped. I'm sorry but I think products of rape* should be aborted at the discretion of the victim and nobody will change my opinion on it. The rights of the child outweigh the rights of the fetus.

*Real rape, not morning-after regret or statutory.

More like a child's body isn't designed to get pregnant either (despite any sex she has is rape under any circumstance). If we're looking for a medical justification for abortion, it'd be not only the rape, but the fact that the "mother" could indeed died if she takes the pregnancy to term.

I am 100% against abortion, but this is the type of case I'd keep my mouth shut and would side with the girl no matter what she does because it's a tragedy either way and she needs support.

WIth that being said, I dunno what's with sperging of certain members acting as if we have a pandemic of priests going around getting 10yo girls pregnant and denying them abortion. The cases exist, but they are rare. The majority of abortions are elective due to reasons unrelated to abortions.

The pregnant child is a victim in this. Ten is too young, and has been since the beginning of time. Margaret Beaufort was married (again, first she was married at three) to Edmund Tudor at twelve and her husband was supposed to wait (the social norm of the time.) he didn’t, and the traumatic birth of Henry VII happened when she was just 13. She never had any more children, and that was apparently down to the horrendous injuries she suffered. It’s also supposed to have turned her into the person she was (interesting, but genuinely ferocious) Ten is a child and extremely high risk for complications md a very traumatic birth
Ohio has exemptions for rape, and child pregnancies. I am generally very much against abortion. At the same time I think that while it’s always killing there may be times when that killing is not necessarily fine and dandy but acceptable. Like war, or killing in self defence, we know killing the born is wrong but sometimes society allows it.
It appears the reason the child had so much trouble getting the abortion was the mother not reporting the boyfriend. I don’t really understand that tbh, if I was that kids mother the boyfriend would be buried under the patio by now.

I'm thinking mom didn't want to lose her pedo boyfriend or get herself in trouble. The types of women who velcro themselves to human waste as partners are usually bad parents. They care more about the walking dick than their own children. A decent mother would have immediately reported the rape.

Minor corrections, the man is Guatemalan, and he raped her when she was still 9. She might be Mexican though, I don't know if we ever established the mom's country of origin or citizenship status.

Maybe this guy will be taken care of in prison. Pedos aren't held in high regard there.
