Popping in for a quick read and figured I'd clear this up since I'm someone who plays the game. The child characters like Klee, Nahida, etc are all treated with respect. Not a single one has been sexualized in any way. Not even the one midget character has been sexualized. For an anime game, it's incredibly tame compared to what's usually on the market which is why it's the only anime game I feel fine playing.

Sadly anything with child characters or anything cutesy is going to have some fucking gnarly weirdos who gravitate towards it. That's just life. It's why we have weirdos who jank it to stuff like Bluey and Sonic. No matter the medium it's bound to have sick freaks infesting the waters somewhere. But I can't blame people for being weary when Anime is filled to the brim with nasty fucks like Rev says desu. It's understandable why people would be on alert over it. But to immediately think anything cute or innocent is goon material kind of speaks a lot about a person's mind if you ask me.

I see, that's good. Some people will jack to anything, MLP proves that, they're the least sexual characters ever and yet many a load has been spilled over them. But yeah, I think it really does speak to the mindset of a person whose first thought seeing these kinds of characters is that they're fap material.
