It’s times like these that I am reminded of the phrase “stupid is as stupid does.”

Our admin might lack in degrees real life experience and raw intelligence as evidenced by rare threads like these but it’s his solid foundation of simple principles and self set rules that limit the exposure of this limitation. It’s much like how forrest gump was a retard but because he followed a well founded code things ended well for him.

So it’s ok if for every 100 vexatious litigant btfo and global internet infrastructure threat vanquished we get the odd “CHEESE DOES NOT EXIST IN AMERICA” thread. It’s humbling in a cosmic way and further reminds us nobody is smart about everything.
Everyone looks silly when they talk out of their ass. This whole thing is a bugaboo for him because he's a husky boy who likes to eat. Or he's just trolling.

I like expensive cheese as much as the next guy, but the people who shit all over American "cheese" are the same type of people who shit on any beer that's not an IPA.

American sliced "cheese" makes for the best grilled cheese sandwiches. Melt some garlic butter on one side of the sandwich when you're done and you have a delicious (and extremely unhealthy) treat.
Its melt physics make it surprisingly good to combine with better cheeses if you want a smooth and non separating cheese sauce

Oh, is Null having his "white woman abroad" attack again?

Yes, Null, basic bitch Americans have access to more than Cheddar in 15 different flavors. No, I do not live in a large city, and no, I will not dox myself just to prove it to you. Farmers markets and often even the deli section at a big chain grocery store can provide an array of cheeses, and they all bake fresh bread.

I'm not sure I understand Null's position on the slaughterhouses. Is it that all the cows enter, get slaughtered, and randomly returned to the processing plants?

Because while it may be true that "large feedlot farm #2161" provides fifteen thousand head and it ends up at various walmart processing plants, around here the local farms (if they want) can drive their cows to the slaugherhouse, get them slaughtered, and get them back and package them.

At least that's what they appear to be doing, but maybe it all gets mixed together.

I fully believe that the state of Florida has nothing but goyslop. I've visited it before, wasn't impressed. But I guess if its raining in Florida that means its raining in Illinois or Colorado too right?
I grew up about twenty minutes from Pensacola and had no issues buying locally-made bread and cheese (meat not so much). Now I live in South Florida and I have *even more* options for local stuff because there are cattle farms. Josh has literally no excuse, the last thing about America he remembers is working at Whataburger and assumes that's the best the Panhandle has to offer.

cope cheddarhead

Depends a lot where you live, like if you're in NYC you can get lots of stuff but its mostly imported and you're gonna pay out of your ass for it because of yuppies and hipsters getting into this shit. 20 years ago NY delis were cheap as shit because nobody fetishized quality food.

If you're in the midwest you're fucked, its walmart town. WI is only good if you like 50 varieties of cheddar.

To compare in south america it depends a lot of the country, because in places like bolivia they literally eat guinea pigs. If its local food quality varies a lot, from slop that wouldn't be fit for dogs to stuff that puts our food to shame. If its imported again you're paying out of your ass specially if you're a local since your wage will be low and in funny local money, and all imports are taxed to shit. Dairy in brazil sucked ass which is weird for a cattle ranching country, but I guess QC is near nonexistent and milk gets diluted a lot. Still better than china when the only way to eat shit that isn't laced with melamine and lead is to spend 2/3rds of your wage in imported food, mostly from kiwiland.

Never been to europe but yeah those guys lead the world in food quality, eurocrats don't fuck around with that. Japan I heard has good quality control but the food itself its meh, specially sweets which are pure sugar and no taste.

I think you are being mad about America on the internet in this case Josh, However there is a point to be made.
We have multiple local butcheries here that work with local farms and can give you fresh meat, although around here fresh bacon without a thousand pounds of nitrate and other shit is only done by one butcher shop.
America does have European style bakeries although not in the same quantities you might see in yurop
Cheese is variable and dependant on what part of the states you live in.

However having visited Australia I will say the overall fresh grocery selection even major supermarkets have over there is far superior in all three categories.
Not to mention the chicken and beef enjoyed there in the average local vendor or from supermarkets was on par with the quality of meat I could get off the local smalltime farmers.
The issue is one of supply and who is supplying. Obviously the average american consumer in the supermarket is getting the meat leftover after the better foodchains, restaurants and manufacturers have all had their fill of the pot, which is to say you are getting dogshit. But depending on where you live you can source non-slop options for a pretty comparative price. For instance here I can get about a month worth of all the top quality free range meat your mom can handle for roughly the same price as store bought, the only catch is shopping monthly rather than on demand.

Another American superiority thread. Love to see it.
Americans are so superior they can have access to the finest varieties of meat, cheese, bread and produce in quantities and at prices that would make King Croesus blush and still pick the goyslop and this INFURIATES Europoors and surrogate Europoors like Null

I was once broke enough to buy sunny acres.
Don't.

As someone who worked in a deli, I found out the vegetables were grown fresh in Compton. They wouldn't let us buy the fresh produce though. Those tomatoes were delicious compared to the shitty shelf stable ones sold in the produce section.

As to the cheese, the fear of processed cheese seems a little strange to me. Yeah, it can get real fuckin frankenshit, but you can also make it yourself. The reason to use processed cheese on hamborgers is that it melts smoothly. That's it. It doesn't do any magical reaction that will make your burger better.

I vote we fund a shot for shot remake of Eat, Pray, Love with Jawsh AI shopped over Julia Roberts

This is why cheap-as-shit American processed cheese is superior to every other. It is also the working man's cheese: slap a piece of lettuce on top of your grocery-store brand American cheese, throw on a piece of bologna, and put that between the cheapest pieces of white bread you can find. I'm sure it will give you cancer, but you'll at least have a satisfying lunch.

don't even get me started on the fucking beer

Don't stop now.
