I have no dog in this fight and don't even know what the fight is about...but Null makes a VERY good point here. There will be times where we, as users, will wonder WTF is going through his mind when he makes decisions that we may not understand or just flat out disagree with...but the one thing he's proven time and time again is that when it comes to this site he is almost always right in how he chooses to call a situation, and we need to remember and respect that. I can't think of a single other person who could have (or even would have) been able to keep this site alive through all the shit Null has dealt with...and so even if you think he's an asshole because he doesn't agree with you, please at least try to understand and respect that he knows what he's doing here. You don't have to like it, just respect it and him.

I’ve noticed the newer crowd of this site have been obnoxiously clout starved to the point where they’re competing for features. Kiwi farms is not for clout and fame, stop fucking trying.

I'm going to expand on this go a bit further in depth because there's been a trend with the newer crowds who are joining now and back during the COVID-19 lockdowns that needs to fucking stop because it's making otherwise entertaining lolcows to follow not funny because of how insufferable the people who follow them are.

It feels to me like the current happenings and the featured threads have been used as competition to try and get featured on Null's MATI streams. This competition, though, has involved manufactured drama and orchestrated events for the sole purpose of being noticed or getting featured and it's getting really irritating.

There's a difference between Chris-chan entering a target and putting up a sign asking for a boyfriend-free girl and then getting arrested by the police as a direct consequence. Those were events that orchestrated solely by the ineptitude of Chris-Chan and what makes it funny is the cause and effect that occurs when obviously stupid actions are set in motion by the lolcow.

It's another thing entirely when you go on a forum, Kiwi Farms or no, and you vaguely imply that someone, probably you, called a swat team to Chris-Chan's house and have him arrested on suspicion of holding captive children in his basement and he's beaten up in a holding cell by violent thugs. This is an orchestration of events for the purpose of clout and that kind of behavior is gay and stupid because it's predicated solely on the purpose of gaining fame and nobody likes attention whores or show offs.

This Cyraxx bullshit is a fucking orchestration carried out by someone who clearly wants to be noticed for clout. It's not even a good quality video, but that's irrelevant. I'm fucking sick of people on this forum, presumably new, coming on here and trying to noticed by Null and trying to get featured because "OH MY GOD! I'm GOING TO BE ON MATI GUYS!" by either encouraging behavior like this or performing criminal acts like extortion or swatting or whatever else.

So my vote is no. Featuring it encourages people to orchestrate events like this and it feeds their hunger for clout and this is something I don't want to see happen because all it does is it just turns Kiwi Farms into some similar vein to TikTok where people act like sociopaths for attention.
