I think the line should pretty much be interacting with cows irl period. Talking to them online is mostly harmless but can cross a line depending on how vulnerable the cow is to manipulation (chris is actually a good example here). But everything would ultimately be case to case because context always varies.

For instance it doesn't bother me nearly as much that ralph got his ass beat because rax is literally retarded while ralph isn't. If someone asked me personally should I go harass ethan ralph irl I'd still tell them no. But it's much easier for me to laugh at given that it happened.
