I wouldn't want people in drag reading to my imaginary children but it really has nothing to do with them being pedophiles or something. Drag, to me, seems like a sexual fetish. They can say it's about expression all they want but I have a dumb little lizard brain and it seems sexual to me. I wouldn't want a dude in a gimp suit reading to kids if I had any either. I'm sure gimp suit dude likely doesn't molest kids. But it would make me question why in the world he feels the need to inject himself into a library.

That's pretty much it, the idea of grown adults engaging in their sexual fetishes specifically around children is unsettling and abnormal. They're not some poor oppressed underdog who lost their right to free expression, they're a pervert trying to get near children for whatever pervert reason they have. If it's not outright pedophilia, it's a desire to normalize their sexual deviancy to children, or a bit of both.
