What is the best class?

I don't know how many there are, but one of the unstable overclocks for cyro massively boosts damage, while taking away max ammo and freeze time longer.
It's "Ice Storm" that's the one I was talking about in that (long winded) build explanation. It's very, very good. "Don't mind me just soloing a Praetorian/Oppressor wave."

18 damage x2 (36) x 500 ammo = 18,000 damage + another doubling on frozen enemies. Ridiculous.

Yeah I'm not a math whiz but the damage boost seemed to easily outweigh the slightly reduced max ammo. More importantly though, it 'feels' really good.

This is not a constructive post, this is me sharing a dangerous cognitohazard in the hopes that by posting it I can unburden my subconscious and stop thinking about it every time I see one.

Fuck you Ethan Oliver Ralph your morbid obesity has penetrated my mind in such a way that it is now interfering with my weekend relaxation. That is all.

Yeah it's one of the few builds that trade ammo for damage in a way that actually works.

As opposed to like, the scout calling for a drop every 2 minutes because he's got the pulse rifle manual heat dump build.

I'd make a mod that would replace all the Grunt noises with hollering, but:
  1. I don't know how to make DRG mods
  2. Ghost Ship/mod.io might put their foot down and say no: and
  3. The actual Guntguard might take notice and attack the DRG community.

New teasers for Season 4. Looks like some kind of arcade machine and a cargo crate-type item.
I saw the crate, I think it's a new mission type. Looks like some kind of demolition charge, primers or something. Get in, blow the joint, escape.....if you can. I hope it's a new mission type.......

Also this weeks Elite Deep Dive was insanely fun, I've done it multiple times, with each class, with successes and losses.
Salt pits
Stage 1: 2 Dreadnoughts, Black Box (exploding enemies) Just a warmup.
Stage 2:Mining 200 morkite, egg hunt 2 + Lethal enemies + a Bet.C in a very tight, cramped, small salt pits stage. The machine gun will literally kill you in less than a second.
Stage 3: 7 aquarqs 2 eggs Point Extraction with a Rival Presence modifier. Just a few dozen guns, and sniper turrets waiting when you disembark. Lots of bugs, better go fast. If you're smart you'll try to setup above the minehead, because its in a deep tight pit, and terrible to fight around. Map is very vertical. Between the swarms from the eggs, and the swarms coming in increasing frequency as time runs out + shredder/patrol bots spawning, it feels like zero breaks, and you're just killing and mining as fast as possible. Then it's a mad dash to make it to the pod.

10/10 deep dive.

Saw this on sale and tried it out.

A bit too addictive tbh. One moment you're rock and stoning with the boys on an escort, the next minute it's 1am and you're frantically checking every corner of the cave for some nitra, because everyone is out of ammo, and you have a fucking dreadnought and a nemesis following you.

God, that reminds me of a ballbuster of an Elimination I did to help a friend's assignment. Lethal Enemies on top of a lithophage meteorite, OMEN, and Bulk spawn. It was a miracle we completed that and got everyone on board the drop pod.

Is Steve worth it? Like... does he deal much damage?

I haven't saved up enough perk points to try him out yet
I'd say Steeve works best with the Scout to take some pressure off (Steeve naturally aggros up to two bugs), and every rank of beastmaster gives Steeve a damage buff. Steeve also inherits certain mutators like Lethal Enemies (doubled melee damage from enemies) and Regenerative Bugs (self-explanatory). Another thing to note is that Praetorians and Oppressors take increased damage from melee attacks so with high enough ranks Steeve can easily go mano-a-mano and win.

Sounds solid. I like the sound of the synergy with the regen debuff. I'll definitely be trying it out in good time

I love me some Steeve. I run him on Engie so I can be lord of the pets with my turrets, Bosco, Steeve, hacked Patrol Bot(s), Bet-C and my Shredder grenade. Gotta fight the horde with my own horde.

Guard Steeve is excellent but for solo play but falls off a bit in groups and on higher hazards. Not really his fault though as actives like field medic, iron will, and shield link become more of a necessity, on top of dash. Scout is probably the best Steeve user as he doesn't care about dash.

I always run it but yeah he dies quick in haz 5. Still useful for drawing aggro for a bit.
