I think it’s interesting, but not at all surprising, that Ralph has zero actual interest in his son and asks no questions about his day to day life at all. What new words/ phrases is he saying? What are his favorite toys? Is he potty training? Meeting milestones? Playing with other toddlers? Like to go to the park or library?
He asked for school records for a two year old. Wtf? Then says nothing when supreme retard Faith Vickers announces she will homeschool Alexander so he can be an isolated, socially stunted, retard like her.
Nothing like a terminally online teen mom to provide a top notch education to a small child. Alexander is only two and she’s already decided he will be staying home everyday with mommy until he’s 18. All this tells me is Faith’s life goal involves no job/education and she wants to sit home all day making shitty crafts while her son watches cartoons.

Did Faith say specifically that she was going to be the one doing the homeschooling? I was under the impression that the task would be handed over to her mother but I doubt it will make much of a difference in the end.

Unless someone is part of a religious sect where the group has organized a homeschool operation (like IBLF groups) I always assume homeschool means stay home and be schooled by mom. Every “home schooler” I’ve ever known had mom as their teacher.
What makes you think grandma would be the home school teacher? Faith’s mom already has four sons and pretty sure they all attend regular school.
Faith attended regular school until she got bullied/started failed teen romances and then her parents let her be “home schooled” her last year or so because “her mental illness” made her unable to handle going to school everyday. This seems to be the point she started thinking getting knocked up was a good idea because otherwise the pressure to go to college or get a job was going to begin, but having a baby could ensure more years of sitting at home and doing crafts.

My assumption was that Faith is working (and isn't she trying to obtain a higher education degree in crimonology or something?) so she wouldn't have the time. OTOH, doesn't she live ~1 hour away from her parents?

Ethan Ralph's son was never going to amount to anything anyway. The moment Faith decided to not abort Xander, the most based thing she could do was to groom him to become a bigger lolcow than his father.

I live in an area with a big homeschool community and it's a lot different than it used to be. Lots of people do homeschool co-ops now, so they have "classes" that are held by people experienced in the subject and/or retired teachers (or women who quit teaching when they had kids). I doubt this is what Faith will do, though.
I'm pretty sure all the Vickers kids are homeschooled. Faith has referenced helping out with that in the past, which mean that Grandma Vickers can't even be arsed to teach her own children. Xander is fucked.

At least Xander being homeschooled will prevent him from being bullied in public school when his schoolmates find his mom’s sex tape and starts passing it around. Unfortunately it probably will be Faith doing the teaching, she told her doctor when she was committed that she had aspirations of being a teacher which the doctor said was now unrealistic because of her sex tape. Instead of now going to university and putting in all the work required to become a teacher, she’s just going to LARP as one with zero qualifications or knowledge to pass down to Xander.

To be entirely fair, I know several people who are intimately familiar with the California educational system and from what they tell me he probably won’t end up much worse than any other kid in the state public schools. Even considering his likely teacher and his genetics, it is that bad.

Very late in catching up, but after reading those exchanges between Faith and Ralph on the parenting app, and she tells him to stop stalking her Twitter, of which he should be blocked, it reminded me of this- on July 10 when Ralph had a pillstream and showed his ridiculous browser thing with the ‘chest cramp morning smoking’ search term, he has a separate one for Faith’s Twitter.
Also he still has the weather set to Richmond, which probably means nothing but he did tell Josh that Sandra Snow’s ashes are in Richmond.

If it wasn’t already glaringly obvious that Ralph is a self-obsessed man child, this would seal the deal. Total strangers we’ve bumped into in waiting rooms and on airplanes have shown more interest in my children’s development and cute little habits than Ralph has shown in his firstborn son.
His utter lack of curiosity about — and unwillingness to support —his own child is straight out of a true crime book. Ralph boasts of contributing a whole $8000 over more than two years of his son’s life. He wants a prize for grudgingly handing over less than $10/day to help keep his child alive.
He’s a dumb drunk. I’m surprised he didn’t ask whether she makes him wear a helmet when he rides his bike.
Public schools are often the first and only place many kids experience violence and degeneracy. No fantasy of “socialization” could outweigh the impact of being handed over as prey for feral niggers, queer propaganda and pedophile teachers. An intellectually curious kid will be fine regardless of the quality of his homeschool education, but since this is Ralph and Vickers DNA we’re dealing with he should probably be institutionalized.

Interesting, here's how I interpret this.
A) The location functionality is blocked and it's pulling Richmond from some other profile-related setting.
B) He purposefully set it to Richmond.
C) He's in Richmond
A is the most logical choice, but it's giving Ralph too much benefit of the doubt. It's safe to assume he enables every setting every time it's asked.
B could me a remnant from when he lived in Richmond and never bothered changing it. While possible, it implies Ralph doesn't get his weather info from there and doesn't care. When Ralph sperged about the Mexican weather, anyone recall if it was from the same weather source? Occam's razor IMO
C is obvious, but why would Ralph defect Mexico for Richmond? It was home, but Sandra was the only real connection to the city outside of knowing the drug dealers. I would not be shocked.

Minor insite on the home schooling thing -- In the area she lives in there are organized homeschooling options offered through the public school system. Typically these options are exclusively for troubled teens and kids who need to catch up on a few high school credits but some parents just throw their bullied, maladjusted kids into the program so they don't have to endure high school. The program is called "Independence"/"Independent study". Basically, you go to "class" for one hour a week at a small public school and its not typically a class with other students, its just you and a teacher. I assume this is what she plans on putting xander into. I can't see someone like her putting effort into lesson plans and actual teaching.

Making a point about how the Mexican Fingerblaster had to fork over a few bucks to feed Xander is silly. This is the man who Vickers wants to give parental rights to. Motherfucker will be paying for a lot more than Xander's meals if that ever happens. It doesn't excuse Ralph from being a deadbeat but it's super petty.
