No idea about burgerland but this seems like it depends on the state. In Abostralia, a passport cannot act as a licence, the cops won't give a shit about who and where you are in the system. Usually though, they'll accept a photo if you're cool with it, they look you up and you're clean. Everyone forgets their wallets, or in Ralph's case, his purse.

Nobody said he's driving without a license, at least not in these recent pages. We're saying he risks getting his license suspended because of his reckless driving charge. The charge he has a court date for is the same "level" of crime as his revenge porn conviction, so it's not unreasonable to speculate that getting a class 1 misdemeanor not even six months after your previous conviction for one would violate the suspension.

IMO it depends on if his previous ticket earlier in the year keeps him from pleading down. Courts still aren't really keen to jail people over the small stuff right now, but he's already on thin ice with a suspended sentence, and I don't know if you can be on two suspended sentences simultaneously that were judged consecutively. I think there's a real chance he has to spend the rest of his sentence in lockup: A realer chance than there was with the revenge porn because he's already on a suspended sentence. If he can plea down he'll be on the thinnest ice he's managed since being out of jail the first time + he might lose the truck, which would leave him dependent on Neigh who might not even be there anymore. I'd also just find it really funny if something as mundane as speeding is what finally broke the camel's back.

Also, you typically cannot drive a financed car without insurance. The bank will just repossess it or force a new policy on you. And, if you stop paying on that new policy (or in Ralph's case, the new policy rejects his ass for having an accident claim and a reckless driving charge in the same year), they take the car back. It's entirely possible he's moved to hide from a repo guy lol.

Ralph needs to have his license suspended if not outright revoked. He is a genuine danger to other road users with how recklessly he drives, and clearly has no intention of changing no matter how times he gets pulled into court over it.

Yeah I have financed a few cars and more then a few times I have lapsed on my insurance for a couple months. When the finance company finds out they will send you a letter usually saying hey you need full coverage. Never had a car taken for it tho. You definitely need it when you are financing the car to begin with.
