Eh I enjoyed the show like an up and down rollercoaster. It starts strong and ends really strong but there's a lot of bumps.

Nocturne is not as bad as I thought it would be but it has some cringe to balance out the decent plot and good fights. ( Haitian dog eating heros and an undercooked French revolution storyline that needed more setup)

The 3rd season sex drama wasn't really necessary but it's not that hard to skip and doesn't make that lasting an impression in my opinion.

That's adapted from one of the mangas. Personally I'm actually pretty cool with Dante getting a little more involved with the world rather then just going after demons everyday.

A few days late but they showed that Lady will be in the show.

I dont think they ever said it was suppossed to be set after DMC3. Frankly, I get the impression it happens before DMC3.

Another series I only watched like one season of and I have no idea if it got better or not. I watched the first season that tried to adapt Season 3 and cringed at the dialog and apparently vampires aren't afraid of being whipped to death by a holy whip anointed by a priest and wielded by a man with strong faith in Jesus Christ as Lord but something about geometric shapes.

Did it ever get less bad?

Castlevania is one of the worst shows netflix has ever released, and I'm not even talking from the standpoint of an adaptation, I've never played any castlevania game other than vampire survivors and the series couldn't go two steps without shitting itself with bad writing or plotholes.


If the talentless hack in charge of castlevania is the guy behind this then its already fucked.
