Not watched the shooting back myself, as honestly I don't need to watch it to see it as a tragedy, nor do I need to see that he jumped to protect his family to believe he did so.
Just saying that he's probably focusing on one type of "correct", similar to Destiny and other debatebro types. In this case it's just ghoulish, "correct" or not.
One of Corey's daughters made a facebook post on it and his widowed wife has said the same thing, as they were at the event when it happened, and I'd be willing to take his actual family's word on it. It's insanely ghoulish to be like "Well we didn't see him protecting them as his brains got blown out", at least to me, at the end of the day he was still an innocent man there with his family to support a political candidate, only someone mentally fucked like Dev or Destiny would look at that and think he had it coming. Same goes for the other two guys that were badly wounded but survived.
