Here's the thing: I don't see Rich/RTU as being a jerk (at least from what I know in the """lore"""). You may say his politics make him more annoying, and I could be inclined to agree, yet perhaps he went after Phil Burnell/DarkSydePhil as a way to go to the "low hanging fruit" to feel better himself. Then again, I could have a "quick rundown", maybe he is a jackass.

Yet Devon is unknown because he masks his sociopathy and "anger" with a "funny maymay man" in a way that makes you want to stomp his stupid head on the mud.

I remember getting covid twice, once during the first outbreak, and once during the "omicron" phase. It sucked, but the cold I got last year was easily worse. Dev must have a really, really unhealthy lifestyle.

I only ever got Covid once, during the Omnicron phase, i felt like shit the first few days, but i made it fine, and i admit i am a fat fuck, and everyone was horribly mishandling the covid info in my country due to our commie president (AMLO).

This dude really wants to make himself an important figure in the online political sphere but it'll never happen because he's fucking annoying and also fat. Much like Sam Hyde said to that journalist, Dev will be making his shitty little youtube videos until he dies and nobody will care. This is the guy who is in like everyone's DMs and spaces but he never manages to make any sort of impact because he's so unlikable that nobody listens to him, remember when Shoe0nhead literally avoided her own discord because he was in there? For him, it was either this or being a cashier for the rest of his life and I don't recommend listening to people who barely have the wits about them to operate a cash register.

I disagree. You can't look at Dev in isolation. We also have to see who he associates with. Namely, individuals like John Walker Flynt aka Brianna Wu. Dev is not the only weasel trying to assert influence. He comes from a long list of similarly repulsive people who back each other up to get to where they are today.

You can think of it as a social Ponzi scheme. Of course with more layers means diminished returns, but we should never underestimate bad actors. That's how people like Wu get positions of power in US Congress. That's how Dev got over 100K subscribers. We got to find a way to out them all and BTFO them so they don't come back.

I get what you're saying but Dev's claim to fame that he mentions constantly is "being friends with Sargon" but when do you ever hear Sargon talk about him at all? I have seen a lot of streams where people show their discord DMs for a sec and Dev is in like all of them, especially commentary people but where is his influence on them at? It's more or less nonexistent.

Wu was able to insert himself into the goobergobber out of nowhere and get on TV, their influence was on display from the start, Keffals was able to do it after being around for a while through victimhood currency but I don't think someone like Dev could do the same thing because he's not trans and persecuted non-leftists tend to fuck off to a small bubble somewhere. He got 100K subs, yes but he's had since literally Gamergate to do it, it took him that long to achieve that amount of success and even then, his audience shits on him a fair bit because he's not anyone's favorite person. He does not command respect from anyone, he's just another anti-woke content creator for the que and I see no reason to register him as a threat, he's just kind of a loser.

They occasionally stream DnD together but that’s about it, Dev was always the release valve for the Sargon to AA pipeline where people who bounced off could orbit but I think Sargon finally realized Dev was genuinely just smug fencesitting and would always cuck out at the first possible definitional argument (see his takes on Jan 6)
