It wasn't until Trump won and I saw a video (now deleted from the internet) "the untruth about Donald Trump" which was just a guy reading off headlines, then giving the actual event with sources if needed. Next story. No filler. Very efficient. But hours of content showing headline after headline, article after article, of lie after lie after lie after lie, for hours. I was interested in Trump after that.

This also goes back to the coomer stuff. I guess I'm on team coomer, team anti-DEI, whatever you want to call it. But so many commentators are really bad at it. Lotus Eaters, Hero Hei. Even ones I like Rev and Clownfish TV seem to drag out a video to hit the 10-20 minute mark when it could be done in 4.

This may well be. I haven't even looked at SH2 because I'm more interested in other games that've released like MW5: Clans.
But the issue I'm seeing on both sides is one side like Dev which considers that so long as the woman isn't covered up head to toe like a middle-eastern woman, or isn't a deliberate uggo that makes Lizzo look like a 10/10 model, then it's not ACKSHUALLY woke, DEI shit. And even then, it's not actually wokeness unless everyone from the devs to the CEO comes out with a "Yeah, we did it out of malice" message. I'm being hyperbolic, but Dev seems to give WAY TOO MUCH leeway to most of these creators.
On the other hand, where Vee and Grummz and the like do it wrong, is they've dipped so far as to think anything which isn't either straight-white-male/anime chick/heterosexual relationship is woke. Which isn't how it is, given how many games and game characters exist which are proper characters in and of themselves despite fitting within a minority grouping. IMO, wokeness isn't just "minorities exist", but rather "minorities exist; but they are absolutely nothing but minorities and oppression messaging; there is no individuality or meaning or sense to them." It's why Yasuke in AC:Shadows is considered woke, but "black samurai" characters in other games such as Nioh or Sekiro based off him aren't. Another example being Vee considering Hades art of Aphrodite to be having a "man jaw", when that was just an art style, given how most of the women in it had similar jaw shapes, and the men had even harder jawlines than her. That said, Hades 2 did have some DEI art stuff i.e. Hestia, Hephaestus, etc. But what ruins it is when these guys start calling out stuff as woke, even if it's not.

I imagine most people, whether coomers or not, are against DEI because it ruins characters and works. And not just about titillating women/men; but also ruins characters and stories by forcing things in where they make no sense and actively make the thing un-fun. Most of the Youtubers talking about some or the other form of wokeness in gaming suck at it because, not only do they try to come at it with their own ideological perspective (i.e. if they think cooming bad, then they're gonna push that just as much as they push on woke), but they're essentially trying to pull an old school MundaneMatt i.e. stretch a 1 minute video into 10 minutes for algorithmic reasons. And that's not even talking about the times they take something at face value themselves and don't even look into it and end up describing something that wasn't even within the article or the like.
