Nobody on Russia's side will ever make such a retarded argument. There's legitimate concerns if you're neighbouring literally the second biggest country in the continent and they're friendly with a geopolitical adversary. It's not just about invading other countries, it's about business deals and leverage.

Ukraine could have just been Singapore getting the benefits from both sides, instead they wanted to prove they're the good guys, the westoids, while being every bit as corrupted as Russia. It's laughable. Sucks that civilians have to suffer.

Yeah, Dev—Vee was upset with Rags for absolutely no reason whatsoever. His anger just came out of nowhere. He hadn't been enduring Rags's constant mistreatment of him for weeks, and Rags's smug refusal to acknowledge what he was doing whenever Vee asked him to stop, no, no, definitely not.

No cities had been getting shelled beforehand. Nobody cut off Crimea's fresh water access. Nobody had broken any ceasefires while their European backers publicly bragged about how they had been lying the whole time just to have time to re-arm. Maybe, despite Dev's pretensions at being someone with something special to offer, he's just like every other dumb shitlib. Maybe he fits into the exact same pattern—where they live in a perpetual present, and events are evaluated not in the context of what came before to see how justified they might have been, but in the context of how they made you feel in the moment and how many of your bourgeois social norms they offended.

I did watch the DND campaign on the arch cast and it was obvious for everyone in the comment section that Rags was a problem. It wasn't just his gripe with Vee, but also stalling every episode to a crawl. Things that would take 5 minutes to do would require at least three hours with someone like Rags.
The main problem Vee had with him is that he refused to take a leadership position because he didn't want to be held accountable for mistakes. But he would allow others to lead just to back seat game and mock them during conversations.
Furthermore he would flip out if he didnt get his way. If everyone else in the party wanted to do X but Rags wanted to do Y then he would stop the game until he would get what he wanted. Even Arch was annoyed with this and called him out several times.

The fact that Dev "missed" all of this interaction and thought Vee rage quit for absolutely no reason what so ever, is a clear explenation of his understanding of the russian conflict too.

The closest we've seen to that sort of thing would be Dev getting into debates on stream. He tends to get increasingly flustered before sperging out, but if it was IRL I doubt he'd even open the door.
