I really don't understand what "due process" is actually expected to happen in these cases. AJW has the theory that based on a prior Supreme Court ruling, deportation is not a "punishment" and thus being deported isn't punishment without due process. Even if you were to consider it a punishment, I really don't see what Dev wants to happen here.

Hypothetically, if I find a man in my house, and the police come to detain him, would he not be held without "due process" until he is given bail/court? At what point is the process started? If they simply take the man and remove him from my home, and say he cannot come back, is the removal from my home somehow due process being ignored? Is the argument that we should waste time charging people, getting them in front of a judge, to then deport? How exactly is the current process any different than a speeding ticket? You are given the fine and you then can choose to fight it. Get deported wrongly? You can fight it from Mexico. Obviously this wouldn't apply to that MS13 guy they went crazy over, but he's one out of what thousands?

Say you get trespassed from a store you are shopping in, and you dropped your wallet, tough shit, that property is now gone unless someone who isn't you can go get it. The implication that an illegal alien is being deprived of life/liberty/property by being sent to a country they came from, is insane.

So, the detainment is actually part of due process since detainment has limitations, 72 hours unless they charge you.

I think part of the problem is lefties confusing nationality with ethnicity and treating nation flags like pride flags. And then very simplistically breaking the world down into America, and not America.

And deporting them is rejecting the good values of that ethnicity while trying to forcibly tie that ethnicities ideas to only a group and a region.

But I think this comes from when they had to brain break themselves so hard in the 50s and 60s when they needed to convince the next generation that the nazis had nothing to do with germans and socialism. Now, the question is, was seperating biological sex from the indavidual by calling it gender, the result or the cause of this brain break? Notice how sex, much like a nation is a social construct.
