Dev: Failed Opportunist, One of Legion

The funniest thing to realize about Dev and his political outlook after a-logging him for over a year, is that not only is he an opportunist, but he is more importantly a FAILED opportunist.
Why do I say this? Because I think he's been waiting for the "downfall of the right wing" since 2016. He played interference within online RW circles of the time. (Though to be fair, Sargon and his cronies during that time were of the same political phenotype as Dev so it wasn't too hard for the Canuck to blend in.) While in these circles, he made multiple calls that ended up in failure for him.
He thought, in 2018, that he could take down Mister Metokur, someone who wasn't explicitly a RW political YouTuber but definitely adjacent to those circles, at his YouTube prime. That he could make an impact in the gay and retarded internet war between his Daddy Sargon and Jim, and therefore gain influence to influence political discourse on the Internet. That gambit failed, and barely anyone outside of us a-logs or Jim fans (there might be an overlap between these groups) remember the skirmish. Those who do remember it will mock Dev for a long time for the harebrained attempt.
He used his minor contribution to GamerGate, sending a torpedo on the career of some irrelevant game developer as a badge of honor and a sign of authority. Despite the fact that Phil Fish was always a small fish in the school of corruption that would come for video game development and journalism, Phil included or not. Dev only toppled a fellow pawn on the chessboard, yet goes on extensive interviews on podcasts where he "gives an exhaustive history on GamerGate" like he's some big deal. The reality of course could not be more further than his delusion.
Most notably, he bet erroneously on the RW immediately cucking itself after Trump won the 2024 elections to become America's 47th President. He was already going on about "woke right" and of course, what you mentioned about DEI and leftism being just a phase,
@DEBIRU MAN so kudos for the original post. Twitter is the battlefield for the fat soldier and one-man failed crusades is his signature technique. From ACE1918, to Kirsche, to Uzalu, to RW accounts and to lolicon accounts, he's lost to them all. It's all stuff the threadposters have laboriously gone through for the past one to two hundred pages. The main reason this opportunism fails is because the American people got what they voted for, so the attempt to condemn the actions of the US government fall to deaf ears.
The most interesting part is that he was never alone. He's like a remora in that sense. He stuck to the whale of the Applebee's Waiter, then drifted to the overall movement of "sensible Centrists, then to the astro turfed controlled opposition movement of "anti-Woke right". [As a side note - Woke right as a retard term is in fact coined by another spergy liberal, James Lindsay.] So of course, as each of these movements crash and burn, Dev flounders on to his next target. Place your bets on what he will latch onto next! (Spoilers; he's probably gonna be a "new Democrat" now in 2028, ask his bull.)
The anti-Right grift he has been doing is probably the longest of all of his schemes. Starting arguably from the infamous date of January 6th 2021, he went from a "reasonable" stance on Trump and the riots (which were incited by fed agents like Nick Fuentes by the way) to calling Trump "literal Hitler" by 2024.
Within that time Dev antagonised people like ACE who provided evidence contrary to lies he was propogating (eg "The Eastman Memo is unconstitutional") and prevented such people from being a part of his community - which was previously hailed as a free speech haven by himself up to this point. He doubled down most egregiously within the past two years, notably saying that:
- Corey Comperatore deserved to die at the Butler shooting because of a fucking Tweet (Corey joked that between Putin and other Democrat politicians, he would save Putin),
- The ATF's actions during the Ruby Ridge standoff were justified (They threw stones at the family's dog to provoke it, shot the dog, shot the father and mother of the family living isolated in the remote fucking woods),
- The Waco siege was justified,
- The American right wing should agitate for civil war as much as possible since they are Nootzees (chickenhawk behavior),
- Most egregiously, slandered a former friend Uzalu of being a pedophile (Grounds for a defamation lawsuit because he was caught saying this in public on Twitter, a major social media platform),
Among other ludicrous positions like agreeing with Anita Sarkeesian that "everything is political", or attempting multiple times to hold higher moral ground by denouncing the Right Wing even when they do something right, just in a way he dislikes, and denouncing the Left Wing in the most cucked way possible. His mental gymnastics, along with a compulsion to "get the last word in" for any given conversation, political, interpersonal or otherwise, as well as his convictions only truly belonging to Nintendo and trannies are all contributing factors to his failed opportunism. He is just so transparently disingenuous that he fails to make significant headway in making a grift for himself, his only traction lies in people who are just like him. Faggots with the same STD flock together.
In conclusion, this adds to the list of things that make Dev a fascinating lolcow when I think about it. This is the only lolcow that inspires me to write long speculative articles about anybody. Thanks Dev, go fuck yourself and get Canadian healthcare.
