He is doing a similar cope to Lindsay where they refuse to admit the 1990s Liberal was the genesis of the issue. He wants the world to go back to the likes of 2004 without any changes, refusing to address the issue that progressivism is the natural end result of the thought patterns and ideological framework that he is championing.
Liberalism caused this, and when the progressives showed up liberalism was powerless to stop it and in face helped it get in power. Even if you somehow miraculously turned the clock back there would be NOTHING stopping this from happening again because the main issues that caused this fucking shitshow (worship of civil rights movement, weakening of family, worship of GDP, hedonism and so on) will still be there and will simply fester into progressivism again.
Dev is literally doing the "It wasn't REAL communism!" shit except with 1990s Liberalism. No Dev, it WAS real 1990s Liberalism. It led to this. It will lead to it again and you can shit and cry all you want about how it won't but it will happen.

Even if this were only half true, the last decade should have given him pause, if he was able to talk for 3 hours about how awful it was being ruled by a liberal (but not a real liberal) for ten years. But it didn't, probably because he's not an actual functioning member of society. I'd be surprised if he pays a considerable amount of taxes. All he does is goon and play vidya and talk about how liberalism is not communism.

Sorry, Enlightenment brought us many of these issues that we face today with "FREEDUMB", especially to be a libertine. So if you want to place a blame, it would be in the French Revolution. But I won't go ACKSHUALLY on you, do not be concerned. The 1990s "libertinism" was perhaps the apex of the issue.
