I'd recommend DW1 for the PS1 since it's a classic that still holds up and is a monster raising sim like N0. N0 added several things that make raising and evolving easier so its hard to go back

OK, thanks for the clarification. I didn't know that Tri had such retardation behind the curtains, though honestly glad I can just delete it from my mind. Kizuna was alright and managed to tell a closure tale for the first gen without taking 6 padded out "movies", so just for that I'm a bit more gung ho on Beginnings.

On the digimon games, I'll add the PSX one to the backlog, hopefully can give it a try before 2024 :lol:

Yuuko there is "best" known for being the series composition behind the Stitch anime no one wants to talk about. It was doomed from the start, it was just a slowburn.

The redub of all three of the first films. The person was saying that Google was saying that they were due out this year. And Marc took great offense to it, and decided to be a Cunt.

Nah I'd say they'd have better luck with the humanoid waifumon lovers than trying to get furries to be fans, furries are some of the biggest normies ever despite being degen deviants and 99% of ones who lust over renamon don't even like digimon or have only watched it once as a child
even ghost game's episode with a yandere meicrackmon failed to bring them in
Digimon with it most of it's designs being mechas or humanoids is too weeby for most furries to get into and they'll just stick with pokemon

Such a cool idea for a villain that I wish Bandai would let someone put some real effort behind to make him even better. I like NO and it was cool that it was a somewhat sequel to DW1 but imagine how much better it would have been if it could’ve been more than a fucking Vita game lol.

That’s what annoys me so much about Bandai is that Digimon could be something top tier but they do everything in their power to limit it to be nothing more than a niche franchise for spergs and unfortunately, furries. Imagine if they put more than a little effort in, fuck put about the same effort as they do for Tomogatchis at least. The fact that there is no V-Pet game app and the best we get is a half ass fitness watch and old pets but now in color and way to expensive just makes my mind explode.

I can go to a Walmart right now and buy a fully color Tomogatchi that connects to my phone and communicates with others and shit for less than $60. For Digimon I either have to deal with the staggered release of the X models, the old anniversary models, go to eBay, or go to Premium Bandai and spend $60 plus shipping for a product that could’ve been made 10 years ago that doesn’t do much more than what the original thing from more than 20 years ago could do!

Sorry I’m a Vpet sperg and with the recent announcement of the new Pen. Colored Edition I just had a bit of a rage lol

TLDR: Fuck you Bandai make better Vpets for spergs like me!

Don't worry and remember, no matter how bad bandai treats Digimon, it will still be a better series than pokemon.
What if they sold the IP to From software tho?

I'd rather them just lend the IP out to decent devs in general to make games
as another poster said, digimon has untapped potential and i'm pretty sure almost any genre could work
an RTS could work, an FPS could work, a soulsborn could work, how there hasn't been any real platformer or megaman esque digimon game is beyond me as even amateur game devs can pump those out, hack and slash could work, beat em ups could work, ect
really the sky is the limit but bandai doesn't give a shit if it's not gundam or dragon ball and only keeps the digimon ip around because it's somewhat profitable

Honestly I would be happy to see a different studio get a shot at a Digimon game, especially a smaller but well loved studio like a Falcom or something. I think From could make a good game with Digimon in it but I’m not sure if it would be a good Digimon game lol. Just don’t let the west touch it, I’m fearful to see what modern Wester devs are going to do with the Silent Hill 2 remake.

Thing is I think Bandai could have very much pushed Digimon where it needed to be and I think it was almost there in some way. When they released Cyber Sleuth that’s when they had a wider audience out of nowhere playing a Digimon game and then you started seeing all the “Pokémon needs to copy this” and you’d have Cyber Sleuth and Persona 5 in the same sentence. Idk maybe it was Covid but it just feels like they let all that momentum die and now it’s just let’s milk nostalgia because we fucked things.

The fact that we have yet to see that new Story’s game that was announced before Covid is telling. They can’t even do the bare minimum and give us a remake of Digimon World 1 which is a game that needs it considering how bad the English versions script was. Until something changes it’s just going to be more re-packaging nostalgia but this time it’s in COLOR!!!

I still say Marc needs his own page on this site. If we can dig up as much shit on him as possible, let's do it. I have my own experience with him. He harassed me in his Discord server and called my favorite anime "retarded shit". When I called him out on twitter he said something along the lines of " I have a demented stalker on Twitter."
