Jesus Christ. I haven't been keeping up with the Dillan drama for a while and never watched his videos since he completely went all comic book nerd. After reading what's been said in this thread..I can say without a doubt. Dillan has fallen hard. Who would think the guy who used to talk shit about lolcows who e-beg and make fools of themselves online is now doing the exact same thing? It's almost poetic how he's become what once brought him so many views and what he hated most.

there’s only one youtuber i know if that has stayed consistent ever since he joined in 2006. And that man is Stuart Ashen aka Ashens.
The only that changed on his channel are the camera quality and the dirt on his couch.

If dillin was actually smart he would ditch this channel and make a new one starting over making movie or game reviews because that will always have content to cover.
He could get a devoted fanbase even if his opinions is trash if he makes it ethier funny or informative enough.
But he won't because it easier to e-beg than it is to actually move forward like he claims he wants to do.

I remember in a voice chat, Dillin apparently blocked the Kiwi Farms on his router and he can’t view KF. But I doubt it but at the same time tampering with router settings aren’t that hard.
I understand why he doesn't. It's pretty always the majority of his subscriber base are dead fans, folks who are subscribed but never watch his videos. If he were to make a brand new channel, I highly doubt he would get past 1500 subscribers. It would technically make him look better in YouTube grading systems, it would make him look a lot smaller than what he's trying to portray himself to be.

Dillin Update: Current state of the channel edition
With the exception of the big announcement video, Dillin is still struggling to pull more then 1k views on anything that isn't lolcow related with the seemingly second pillar of his channel creepypasta readings are falling to break 1k views reliably now.
Having free time on my hands last night, I popped into Dillin's stream several times, and it's clear he's working extremely hard to try to paint himself as the mr.positive figure, to the point where he said he isn't going to deliberately review any bad comics among other things.
Overall though the next big sperg out from Dillin imo is going to come when he really starts to have serious money troubles, but until then he's gonna be pretty dry when it comes to content for a little bit

I don't know about this whole Mr positive hug box vibe. Being an internet figurehead is a dangerous game with all the eyes on you. The thing is, the most charitable and kindest are possibly the worst people you couldn't make up.
In other words Dillin. No, your a dumbass to keep your old association (seriously should've kept it all up for the passive income) people are easily going to find skeletons in your closet and it's going to backfire hard. It never ends good and you're not one to look up too for many reasons. I get trying to better yourself, but like all predators I've seen on the internet. They always play the good guy to hide their actions.
