It's not too late for Dillin to get a real job and start building a resume. Some people don't finally go to college until 30 or 40, and while you will be behind others, there will always be someone behind you too, so it's really no contest. There's also plenty of jobs you can do without a degree. He could paint houses or drive a garbage truck. An honest job is more respectable than not working at all, no matter what the job is. He needs to get out of the childish mindset that he's "above working" or "those jobs are for losers" because that's a bad attitude.

And if your listening Dillin. You could still do YouTube if you really want too. Just make sure it's things you want to do. Don't treat YouTube as a job. Treat it as a passion project. That's how you tubers start and when they actually have a stable YouTube career and income. Then you can make it a full time job. Just have a plan B.

I mean shit you don't even need to go to college, I know it ain't for everyone, myself being in that category. I work at a gas station and bust my ass stocking, cleaning and making milkshakes. It's not the fanciest job nor is it the most high paying job out there, but it pays decently and I don't mind doing it.

I would personally advise to NEVER make YouTube your fulltime job, especially if you only make the equivilent of 40k a year. What happens after 10 years of YouTube your career is finally over? Nobody lasts forever, and eventually your channel's 15 minutes of fame will be up, so you can't expect it to carry you for the rest of your life. When that happens, how do you explain a 10+ year gap on your resume to your next job? "I was a YouTuber for 10 years and did videos talking about a retarded blue mouse and his gay yellow wolf."

Me neither. It's risky but if you actually plan and invest. You could rack up a decent amount of savings. Most times if you are looking at a full time job your banking on your experience being applicable elsewhere. So maybe Dilly boy could be a video editor, sound mixer, video advisor, or manager. Ofc Dillin wouldn't be able to apply because he barely puts effort into anything. Youtube though is a dangerous game and very rarely can people live to retirement onward.
