I still find it super odd how the only example of pedophilia he uses to make his case was a bitch who had a license and a car. Wow what a child Dillin. I wouldn't do what Jesse did but this dude Dillin acts as if Jesse kidnapped a 4 year old from a daycare or some shit. Going back to the Chris parallels maybe this is Dillin's own version of the dimensional merge. It's as if he believes the events of Jesse's babysitting Cream series actually happened or at the very least combined with the historical events of our own universe, thus resulting in Jesse becoming a real pedophile like Sonic was in the game.
The "she lied about her age" thing I could aaaalmost believe, but when the screenshot of him sending beastiality videos got asked about, his response was that he sent it to her "for the shock value", that was a big red flag right there.

415 views in a day. Ouch. The concept of this comic is so boring, that you'd have to have a great schtick in order to get people to watch it. Linkara could probably do it and get well over a thousand views, so I honestly hope Dillin sees this and starts brainstorming ways to make his vids more entertaining. Cool editing always seems to work.

With all the allegations I don't fully believe the "Shock Value" thing either. But I have a tiny shred of doubt. It's only because in my high school Friend group one of our friends would pull out his phone and show people that kind of stuff to gross them out.

I tried watching that video and my god was it an exercise in patience. It's painfully clear that Dillin's default tone is dull/bored, to the point it sounds like he doesn't want to read it.
I want to say he's similar to Phelous, but Phelous is aware of how naturally bored/sarcastic his voice is and plays it up for the camera. Dillin lacks any self-awareness to his shortcomings, and because of that, his videos are damn near unwatchable without a co-commentator.

been in a server with jesse before and the only time I've seen him post unironic nsfw was muscle girls and bimbo stuff lmao. so by personal account I can attest to it being definitely a shitpost for shock value

Sorry about going slightly off topic. Anyway probably anything about Jesse, at this point, should just be rated with just late ⏰ unless it's like new info or something not yet before discussed. Cause I went back like 50 pages and saw people saying the same exact shit they are now. It's spinning its wheels, and I do it too, but Comics Code/Dillin's new stuff should probably be the main focus now. I'm willing to take any discussions of Jesse to my DMs though @Captain_AWF if you wanna hash out some ideas there. Unless there's some kinda new interaction or development with Jesse via Dillin though, there's just no point in bloating the thread with the same shit from 50 pages ago. Again, my bad for doing it too.

Anyway, Dillin's comic sucks.

I was going to do a review but after a few panels. I value my life and sanity. I do want to say though that like Dillin, it is low effort and boring. In the very FIRST panel. If you actually pay close attention you'll notice the fauna is actually a brush. For those not knowing what I mean, you can make a custom brush (or download) and then it'll copy paste. I understand using tricks and shortcut to cut down on the tedious portions of art. Art is very time consuming, but goddamn it look so lazy and shitty.

Seriously though, you expect people to pay for your comic Dillin when you are doing the bare minimum for your art? (I know Manga writer did it, but you had to approve of it) People pay for drawn art. Not for some cheap ass free download brush that anyone can do.

I would like to see an autistic comparison between the first panels/page 1 of all three The Cyclone, Sonichu and Lightbringer comics. I wonder which of the three has the worst first impression.

Sonichu

The Lightbringer

So who has the best first panel/page? Which comic does the best or worst job at grabbing the viewer and setting up the story?

My opinion: I hate to say it but I think Chris Chan does it better. While Lightbringer also starts with narration, Sonichu at least introduces a character and a plot right away. Lightbringer establishes a setting but no character and no plot. Dillin is the worst because I can't even tell what I'm looking at. The lack of color and direction just makes it look like grayscale vomit. How is that supposed to grab attention? Imagine being outdone by the very people you criticized.

Have to agree with you.

Sonichu starts off with station square being destoryed by Perfect chaos, Lightbringer Jose supposedly prosperous city and it's change to a shithole. Although you could argue The Cyclones art is superior to the prior 2, it's introduction ia just a bunch of people at some old building.

Chris immediately brings the audience into the action and Linkara immediately males the audience wonder how the city when to shit. Dillin however only shows off an old building, which I would say would drag me into a story less effectively

While we're at it

Drifting Edge, starts off showing these two random ocs, one of which is his "self insert", or "pet" oc if you prefer, and some bird. We see an Eggman face in the side of the building, and then several panels of just the characters upper bodies and dialogue, which seems to imply to Edge character is an uwu silly boy, which is weird because the comic is made out to be some grim dark war story.

Edge Legacy is obviously a rip on Sonic Legacy, but much, muuuuuch poorer quality. It's supposed to be the same first page from Sonic Legacy, but there's no distinguishable details. What little background there is looks like drunken modern out made out of broken Tetris blocks. If you're going to do a black and white comic, you have to put extra effort into making sure details are distinguishable, not just a mishmash of shapes to fill the empty space. And also there's Dillin's main oc because why not. (Also, the artist that worked on this issue kept auditioning for to work on Sonic Legacy, and we kept telling him no. You can see why.)

Sonic Legacy. You'd think I'd be biased, but honestly, I've never really been a fan of the first issue, or how the comic starts. It starts off nearly the same as Edge Legacy, except you can actually tell what's supposed to be going on. Sonic, doing some flips, catching some very sad looking chili dogs. At least you can *tell* what's going on, and that it's supposed to be taken place on a beach. You even see Tempest in the very first panel, in a floaty (Why?) in the water watching, so when she does show up on the next page, it's actually accounted for that she was there and saw what happened.

The first few issues on Legacy were already done before I joined, but I'll still say the writing and art on the first issue are two are pretty weak, but, compared to either of Dillin's Sonic related stories, it's *still* the cleanest and best represents the story that the comic is trying to tell. And yet Dillin made several videos.. oh, I'm sorry. *Jesse* made several videos shitting on Legacy, Dillin just happened to be on those videos also shitting on it, but he's totally not accountable, right?

I honestly STILL think Sonichu has them all beat. In edge and sonic Legacy both barely draw you in with anything interesting. Sonic being fast and catching a chili dog is just sorta meh and doesn't really act as a main draw. I will say that drifting Edge is far far worse though. Who are these two characters, why are they exploring some eggman base? Why should I even care? It's just kind of random and barely introduces a plot or a story.

Yeah, like I said, the first issue of Legacy is *my*east favorite. First issues are usually the weakest in any series, but even so, there's no narrative, just "here's sonic the hedgehog, and he's doing a thing, doesn't he look cool?" And yet it's *still* better than anything Dillin has put out.

I legitimately hope I get to review Cyclone with Rogue. Dillin said he wanted people to review/critique his comic, and I've definitely got some input to give.

So, Taylor's art isn't the worst I've seen (Better than the guy Dillin's currently working with) but it leads a lot to be desired. It's obvious she uses bases, and because of that, her characters not only look very similar, but her figure drawing is incredibly stiff and lacking any real body language.
Dillin's awkward dialogue doesn't help.

Out of all of them The Cyclone is easily the worst. Isn't that funny how it works? The guy putting others down and when he shows up to show off how much he can do it better, he fails in the worst ways imaginable.

Edit: Dillin's OC looks like a fucking faggot. I'm even more convinced he has a Grindr account now.
