Having free time on my hands last night, I popped into Dillin's stream several times, and it's clear he's working extremely hard to try to paint himself as the mr.positive figure, to the point where he said he isn't going to deliberately review any bad comics among other things.

Overall though the next big sperg out from Dillin imo is going to come when he really starts to have serious money troubles, but until then he's gonna be pretty dry when it comes to content for a little bit

In my opinion, it seems rather obvious the positive, good faith, constructive criticism phase for Dillin is extremely fake. With how quickly he was willing to go right back into Sonichu after swearing it off forever, for a hundred goddamn dollars a month no less, it seems like any kind of backlash or conflict from his much more relevant critics and wavering audience alike is the only thing keeping him from relapsing back into the Dillin cycle. Especially considering he immediately backpedaled that shit as soon as Rogue made fun of him for it.

Yeah won't be long though as dillin will begin a fight eventually with someone.

My bet is ethier three things; he goes after rogue again, he fights with his new artists lava, or he fights with a comic writer (my bet is the thrid one due to most comic people are lolcows in thier own right and cry about everything)
 
He should've stayed with being the edgy and condescending personality. It's what made him money and got him views. He's cleaned up that act and now he's got close to nothing, and if he were to try to go back, think it would be too late.

Depending where you are, those are often decent paying low skill jobs, where as with being a cashier you're lucky to be making more then minimum wage. Though, at this point any real job would make more money then Dillin does

I’m curious why he wanted his new artist to make him new stills to replace the ones Taylor made him if he’s just going to keep using them anyway.

Don’t know why he wouldn’t just do that with the main channel and turn the second channel into his new main, because now those videos all have minuscule views as well, so he can’t even profit off revenue from them anymore. Every single wrong decision Dillin could’ve possibly made with this new image change, he did. It’s impressive, because it seems like he’s actively trying to destroy his YouTube career.

Yeah, Dillin certainly didn't think this through. It's fairly obvious Dillin's a very "Act first, think later" kinda guy. He just does whatever he thinks is a good idea without stopping to consider the consequences of said actions.

It's odd he's doing it now, but now we'll have to wait to see if he'll get the other videos reuploaded, namely any other stream or lolcow related video he has left to reupload. but again, he still has that breakdown stream, maybe he could get money by actually reuploading it.

I remember back in August when Dillin left the original pajamacast server, Taylor did stick around for a bit after he left. She did state his decision to part ways with Jesse was a kneejerk reaction. We know this because a few days after he parted ways he issued a public apology to Jesse on his twitter (again, gone, but the screenshots Jesse posted if his DMs back in december show at least part of the tweet.)

Dillin seems to have a pattern of making sudden decisions without thinking of the consequences, this rebrand being the latest one. It possibly explains in part why The Dillin Cycle is a thing. These kneejerk reactions cause him to get into slapfights with everyone over petty crap.

The whole Rogue bullshit happened because Dillin couldnt wait a few days/weeks for Rogue to be ready to record videos. The January Rogue sperging happened because Dillin decided to call Rogue out on Twitter, (which i think after he did it he realized he fucked up big time, and tried to play the victim card the confrontation stream). It probably would have panned out better (and certainly would have been more entertaining) if Dillin had came out swinging at Rogue, he could have saved some face, possibly avoiding the rebrand arc. Instead he got (metaphorically) raped on stream and became an even bigger laughing stock. I think at this point Dillin has managed to kill his channel with his rebrand.

Purple jacket Dillin is probably from an alternate universe in which they never broke up with Taylor, his efforts of completely ruining Jesse we're successful and they won against Rogue in their YouTube argument. This Dillin also never lost subscribers, doesn't have to e-beg for money and never made their gay ass name change or content change.

I gotta mention about being unable to wait thing. Dillin couldn’t wait because Dillin wanted Rogue to keep to his words and be punctual with the schedules “he set”. Dillin probably got pissed because to him, Rogue changing plans to him is basically Rogue lying to him.

Edit: What I was trying to say is, Dillin wanted Rogue to stick to a schedule but when things changed, Dillin saw it as Rogue being dishonest.
