The knives came out at the shareholder meeting. Iger really didn't want to get into it but every other question was about China, politics, or Reedy Creek. Iger really solidified his positions this time. When people said that he was all about the money and would change course when the money started getting tight were wrong. He went full on ideologue.

You wanted to be a political company, Disney; this is what being a political company is.

Full trailer for Pixar's "Elemental" is out.

This looks like absolute garbage no surprise I didn’t think they could get much worse than turning Red, say what you want but at least that film has some interesting conceptual ideas and some memes that were created from a certain Youtubers nonsense. This doesn’t even look bad enough to be funny, it looks as if some foreign animators came to the helm and clearly have been allowed to control the project due to nepotism, another Pixar film I’ll skip.
Last Week we got Live action LiLo & Stitch

Today:
Moana - Live Action with the head Hawaiian person - THEROCK

Yeah like Turning Red was not a good movie, but ffs at least that movie clearly had some soul and passion put into it compared to Elemental which looks like the most generic romance movie that feels like a first time animator's project. But its written by a Pixar veteran whose last film he directed was The good dinosaur

Sohn was the replacement director. The Good Dinosaur had production issues which included a change in directors from Bob Peterson to Sohn, and it shows. Not surprising a work made entirely by him comes off as bland and boring.

I have never seen a sharholder call that included questions about organ harvesting, concentration camps and grooming children.

Well I've never seen a corporation that cozy up to a totalitarian socialist regime, wants males in womanface to stick their feminine dicks on children's faces, and is willing to sink their century old public image to the ground. First time for everything, I guess.

The way things are going. I wouldn’t be surprised if Disney and Hollywood started asking for government bailouts. Possibly to prevent a total Chinese buyout.

As an entertainment industry, unlike say, banking or the auto industry, they already have a built-in bailout: it's called their fucking audience. You know, the people they've kept telling not to watch their increasingly shitty movies ("IF YOU'RE A WHITE MALE, DON'T SEE THIS MOVIE")? Maybe if Hollywood stopped pinching woke turd logs in our mouths for 15 fucking seconds and offered us something we actually want to watch, they wouldn't be suffering as hard right now.

Your right, but also wrong. They have built in bail outs with ESG (environmental, social, governance) loans from the FED (but really Blackrock who is one of the major behind the scenes owners of the FED). They are literally paid by the government bank to fill up their ranks with diversity hires who pump out woke garbage.

With hyper inflation comes everyone watching where the government is putting the tax payers money. So the FED is reeling back those ESG loans and getting more aggressive about getting paid back by those who they loaned out to, like Disney.

There are more superhero movies Damage control articles. This time trying to justify John Wick 4 doing better at the box office than marvel and DC movies. The MCU already had has a Agenta of shield like movie. It's called black widow.

Never mind that the aforementioned films have very little CGI and a hell of a lot of stunt work from their main stars, which obviously won’t happen because it’s like Marvel needs CGI in their work considering the characters they’re working with.

The children will love this...

Just avoid YellowFlash in general.
Aaaaw, you fuckers got my hopes up! That doll has the perfect "shiiiieet" face.
I never understood the idea of racial allegory through literal different entities. If anything it justifies differences and risks between groups by saying that there is quantifiable objective differences. But using elements might be a new low bar because every fucking cultural reference to elements has them inherently opposed and damaging to each other.
Another disturbing thing is that the character design is literal blobs that fits globohomo art with eradication of gender and body types.
Of course I expect the cost of the film will be in the hundreds of millions despite being made entirely of particle effects rather than animation.
Same. The trailer showed me if anything why they should never mix, period, when even going through a door is an issue wuthout the other enabling, I mean, how the fuck do they hug without horrible pain.

Same deal with xmen, or aliens or whatever other fucking metaphor of the sort. Once there is a vital incompatibility or anything that makes the "outsider" a treat by merely existing (though niggers chimping out is always there, it ain't the same as shooting beams from their eyes) it becomes a nonsensical metaphor. I'm still waiting for a movie like this where the military type is proven right and throwing a nuke solves the problem instead of hugs and kumbaya.

I didn't know this shit was public. Any good links with possibly some insightful commentary?

I was looking at Disney+ the other day and I'm always confused at why Disney has only put a random smattering of Fox produced movies on there when they have one of the most iconic libraries in film history. What has Disney even gained from buying Fox at this point?
