Endless superhero slop, endless life action remakes, endless sequels and endless pandering to the latest social media trends no one gives a shit about. Streamlined to the extreme. Disney death cannot come quick enough.

Looks like one of those child friendly electric toy cars that actually will manage with a child + their alien buddy in them. But also tend to cost like half a grand more than a tricycle powered by human alone and are completely unrealistic for a family like Lilo's to be able to afford.

I wonder why Disney would instead use a clearly more costly and poorly suited prop in a child targeted film than the same as the original-ah fuck it I can't be bothered. Drop dead Disney, you have the same marketing standards as the first few episodes of the average Super Sentai/Kamen Rider series and at least they do not pretend differently.

If the original movie is anything to go by, it's going to be stolen from Myrtle.

Again, like I said earlier, it would be top fucking kek if Myrtle were hit with the "blackwashed ginger" beam, considering she's Lilo's bully. Which is why, unfortunately, they will be accurate this time, because WHYTE PIPO BAD. *sigh*

I'd honestly forgotten it was stolen from Myrtle. That at least will make more sense.

That said having the minority child steal from the white one will also likely have Disney's DEI staff tugging at the necks of their clothing and muttering. Even if Stitch does it they won't like it.

Except Myrtle wasn't really bullying Lilo or rather it was kinda left open if it was bullying or just kids not getting along. In later works she was just a bully but in the original movie Lilo was definitely a part if not the problem.

Lilo attacked Myrtle after a mildly insulting comment, Lilo didn't read the room when making up a gross story about her doll, Lilo tried to use woodoo to hurt her, Stich with Lilo stole from her. Myrtle was unpleasant to Lilo definitely but Lilo was far from being nice girl herself. This isn't criticism by the way. Lilo being a wierdo and movie letting it naturally clash with the world rather than portraying her a saint is what makes her such an intresting and memorable character.

The death of her parents deeply traumatized Lilo and is the cause of her lashing out. Unlike how female characters are written today, Lilo's behavior was not excused because she is an orphan.

The live action remake will probably make her an insufferable girlboss.
 
Wasn't it implied Lilo used to get along with Myrtle and gang before her parents died? They clearly know each other on an acquainted level, they just didn't know how to stay friends with her when her behavior took a turn.

Guess THQ Nordic needed to move onto a new IP after SpongeBob Cosmic Shake supposedly bombed. Game looks good and it is always nice to see Oswald again. Also nice to see a ‘dark’ Disney product. Hopefully it does well and Disney will consider continuing.
