The New 52
In 2011, DC relaunched its comic books and rebooted its continuity in an initiative called The New 52. The character was re-made to be a corrupt image and antecedent to Wonder Woman and the ideals she represents. Barbara Ann Minerva (having used several aliases that happen to be the names of various incarnations of the character) is given a revised backstory: she is established as an ally of Wonder Woman's due to her knowledge of dangerous relics, and having previously grown up in an all-woman commune called "Amazonia". Every generation, one of their members is chosen to become the host of the Goddess of the Hunt, until one day a hunter killed the current host; the knife used to kill her was cursed until it fell into the hands of Minerva. The Cheetah is subdued by the Justice League and placed in Belle Reve. However, once there, she makes contact with someone telling him she is where he requested, implying her capture was staged as a part of a bigger plan.[17]

I won't be surprised. Just recently, Starfield has already accidentally exposed Bethesda and other American game publishers are actively running black list program and pushing youtubers to use pronouns as damage control for releasing a broken product. CNBC yesterday published a 12 thousand word article about the state of top management of Disney over the last few years, particularly the Iger/Chapek succession(s). The ego, folly and childishness is remarkable.

Amongst other things it confirms Iger's refusal to give up his office; apparently because of the private bathroom which had a collage of newspaper front pages and magazine covers with images of Iger celebrating Disney’s purchase of Marvel and, a mock up of the Clint Eastwood film, The Eiger Sanction, as "The Iger Sanction"!

This has to be a satire, this is super petty and really cartoony for an egomaniac.

Alot. They have alot of material assets under them that give them a certain absolute value. It also means they can float financing for awhile. Financing is a death spiral but everyone currently there can loot.

The recent msnbc article about Iger and Chapek spills all the tea about what has been going on with Disney. Turns out Susan Arnold was choosing being a fag over the company and strong armed Chapek into picking the fight with Desantis.

I feel this DeSantis thing is going to drag on for a while. Disney is a multi-billion dollar company who have had iirc tax privileges for decades now. The decades have passed now, and you can afford to pay these taxes. PARTY'S OVER.
 
Something the Disneyphiles refuse to think of is if Disney had a carved out piece of dirt with tax privileges in a democratic controlled state and Iger tried to pull his shit there. The democrats will also pound his and Disney ass, as they too will not allow anybody walk off with a piece of their fiefdom.
