Steve ditko was a based objectivist who couldn't stand Stan Lee fucking with his drawings. Ex:

Steve: ok spiderman in this panel will be shaking his fist in anger at these stupid protesters.

Stan: ok but I'm going to have spidey shouting in support of the protesters cause I support the current civil rights movement.

Steve: fuck you stan.
Yeah, Ditko 's spider man and question got screwed over by various writers

both terrible and unnecessary.

I have only seen a handful of the live-action Disneyshit, but one of them is the Lady and the Tramp. It was the only one I have seen that was completely fine and enjoyable. Unnecessary sure, maybe someone could quibble about the black people and if that fits the time period. I have no idea. Yet it was a perfectly enjoyable film. With nothing making me roll my eyes or thinking it was shit.

Men are 50% of the population. Women are 50% of the population. The “pandering” occurs in equal measure. You just notice it more when you *aren’t* the person being pandered to.
Really intresting how the pandering only occurs in male dominated hobbies then huh? Don't see a lot of romantic comedies pandering to men or female dominated space sand hobbies being changed to accomodate men.

Fucks sake, Die Hard isn't a fucking Christmas movie
Yes it is, you fucking nigger. Christmas is the main reason for all events and character development in the film. McClane arrives in L.A. because it’s Christmas. Because it’s Christmas, he attempts to rekindle his relationship with his wife. The robbery occurs at the Nakatomi Plaza also because of the Christmas party and the ease of taking hostages—and because police will be less active. Powell himself is only there because he had stopped to buy his pregnant wife twinkles. (And we can deduce he’s working Christmas Eve for overtime—for his wife.)

As for Christmas themes, the rekindling of family ties, the child waiting to be born (Powell’s), and the hunt for the lone savior (McClane)—these all seem pretty fucking Christmas to me.

This crap again? JWTF are you talking about, of course female medias are made with men in mind too, as i said earlier. The Barbie movie had Ken as the deuteragonist and featured a troon. Also there's no, like, robots or gunfight in romantic comedies because romantic comedies are barelly made anymore.

Are you implying that the troon was meant to pander to men?
The Barbie movie had Ken as the deuteragonist
Yeah, romantic comedies are supposed to have a male deteragonist bro. That's kind of the entire point, nevermind the fact that Ken is an integral part of the barbie brand that they couldn't leave out even if they wanted.

It was meant to pander to troons, what are troons, but men?

Also a good exemple of a recent successful female movie franchise was The Hunger Games, which is what it is (crappy), but has crossover appeal. As i said earlier in the thread, projects don't usually get the greenlight if they only appeal to women, they need to appeal to both genders.
