Had to double check several times to make sure this wasn't the parody account. Not complaining since the first film was great, but wasn't there meant to be a TV show? Will Princess and the Frog also be getting a proper sequel instead?

That answers that question. I guess Disney+ subscriptions aren't paying the bills these days.
>Disney tv show made into movie.

This is just Atlantis 2 all over again.

No, it made a little over a billion dollars with a 200 million budget. Even if you do the multiply by three thing for ads and theater cuts, it still made several hundred million dollars.
It's also probably the movie that made a lot of people think "ok, yeah, I think I'm good if another one comes". Usually the film that shits the bed isn't what kills the franchise sales wise, it's the one after that.
The hidden bit in the earnings report was Disney+ lost a million (core, ie US) subscribers this quarter.
Such a lovely late Christmas present.

The new songwriters are Biglow and Bear who are known for the unofficial Bridgeton musical on Tiktok.

In a now-deleted LIVE Biglow stated that the girls consulted LMM which is the final red flag.

We're getting Wish lvl lyrics again ( Dollar store Miranda)

Is Dwayne Johnson slated to be in both considering the PR disasters he has done in Hollywood and with Maui?
wait, what happened. didn't everybody love the rock?

so did last jedi, and we know how that went. I'm not holding my breath they can repeat that.

It mainly has to do with Black Adam I think given he was an egotistical idiot who wanted to make himself the center of the DC universe and screwed over other projects to suit his ego. Doesn't help he literally has a clause in his contract that he can't lose a fight in a movie, which some speculate is why he wants to do a live action Moana.

Wasn't there also something like he couldn't take more than a certain amount of hits in a fight or some shit?

Never said Toy Story 4 was good, just that it made a lot of money.

Reminder Pixar spent more on Self than annual television budget for Ugandan animation. Self has the ugliest animation I seen in years. Uganda producing better looking animation than American companies now.

She really does look like someone used a gingerbread man cookie cutter on several day-old, non-human feces.

Deadline is reporting that the Rock and Moana's VA are just now being put in talks to reprise their roles...

This same thing happened with Dan Castelellnella in Aladdin 3 where he was replaced by Robin Williams.

This truly is the straight-to-DVD sequel of the new era

- TLM and Tangled guys are gone
- LMM is not back
- Tiktockers are writing the music
- Disney Animation Vancouver is working on it ( A new studio that's only been open a year)
-Was a tv show but was remade into a film halfway

I smell a success
