Yeah and given how much Disney wants to play it even safer after their 2023 bombs, I doubt they’d want the movie they are banking on to make them a lot of money to have any prominent gay scenes.
i remember seeing a trailer where another girl is looking at her weird in a lesbian way and her emotions are trying to figure out what's going on.

My bet is that it is probably set up just to queerbait dumbasses who will think this will finally have a gay character

“I’m really excited to embrace this character because Moana is one of my favorites,” said the 17-year-old Sydney, Australia, native. “My grandfather comes from Fa‘aala, Palauli, in Savai‘i. And my grandmother is from Leulumoega Tuai on the main island of ‘Upolu in Samoa. I’m honored to have an opportunity to celebrate Samoa and all Pacific Island peoples, and to represent young girls who look like me.”
Well....she looks the part at least. Funny how there's no race-swapping HERE (or in the Lilo and Stitch remake for that matter).

"Remove or Replace Whitey" is hollyjew's marching orders. Every other mutt is permitted to keep their vague cultural representation.

Good. George "I sold my baby to the White (lol sure heeb) Slavers at Disney" Lucas getting his Jewish space fantasy destroyed by Different Jews and their pet negroids makes me smile.

Was at Disney World last weekend. Parking lots were half full. On a June weekend.
The cost of a park ticket for a single day for a single person above the age of 10 is $109. You can easily spend thousands of dollars at Disney World in a week. Most people can’t afford to fork over that kind of money for casual entertainment in this shit economy, especially with food prices continuously going up these past few months.

So I deicide to watch The Black Cauldron, a movie that I have not seen in over 20 years.
I know it is consider to be one of Disney biggets flop (until recently) and boy I can see why.
Some pointers
Taran is not a good protagainst. He is brash, annoying and have his heads up in the clouds all the time. I understand why they made him like that, but it didn't work for this movie.
The fluffball is awful and should have never been in the movie. I was happy that he died.
The horned king have a badass design and John Hurt is awesome as always.
The animations is damn good and you can see the money on the screen.
Not a lot of music in it.
I liked the girl character.
If it was not current day Disney sucked so much ASS, I would say that this movie would be perfect for a remake. Maybe closer to the source material.
The books are excellent, but I think the biggest problem with the movie is that they're trying to combine the plots of two books into one movie. Disney still has the rights to the Chronicles of Prydain, but I think whatever they try to do will end up even worse than their first attempt at adapting the series.
I don't see it happening since Disney only does gay characters if they can be edited out of the movie for other countries or only says they're gay in press tours

So I am calling a bluff on this.
I just saw the movie and you're right, there's nothing in the movie about Riley being gay. For a movie about puberty, there's really not much about anything to do with sex other than a brief bit about a "Mount Crushmore" which features boys she has a crush on. Even the "deep dark secret" that comes up early is just a joke. Disney loves to put "unapologetically queer" characters in their movies for six seconds that that then edit out of the movie for other countries, but they didn't even do that this time around.

So how is the movie, anyhow? Still not interested in seeing it simply because the new characters are too ugly to look at, just am glad to hear there's no gay shit to be had.
It's ok. It's not as funny as the first one, but I wasn't bored and annoyed like I was when I watched Elemental. I think the biggest problem is that it's trying to juggle too many characters. Plus the biggest laughs in the movie came from characters who were only around for a couple of minutes.

For people who are worried the movie is woke or whatever, the story focuses pretty much entirely on Riley's hockey team and her anxiety about growing up and making new friends. I think Disney wanted a nice non-controversial film to make some money before Despicable Me 4 comes out and steals their thunder.

I'm just glad it turned out to be decent. I had next to no faith in current Pixar delivering a sequel that even approaches the quality of the original, but reading reviews I guess they did it. Toy Story 2 remains the best Pixar sequel though.

With all their recent animated films either under-performing or eating shit at the boxoffice, I imagine they were desperate for an unequivocal success.

But how were they able to realize that a box office success requires not shoving lesbians or politics into it? It seemed like they would never make that connection.

That's actually good to know. After the Turning Red there was a 50/50 shot they would make another movie about getting a period and ignoring 9/11.

Just saw Inside Out 2 and I thought it was pretty good. Pixar isn't completely lost, though I am worried that they may just have to depend on sequels. Inside Out was an interesting idea, and the first movie fleshed it out well so they didn't have to be too creative in building the world. Pixar might have to continue to stand on the shoulder's of giants and make sequels because when they don't we get bland, barebones garbage like Elemental.

A family member might go out later this year to California to help out our elderly and sick family members. They thought about going to Disney for a day, but a one day ticket costs $185. They saw that and said they think they won't be going to Disney ever again if that's how the prices are now. I remember 20-25 years ago tickets were $20 to $35. That's also when they had rides that actually worked and were made by competent imagineers

I'm wondering if Pete Docter had a final say in Inside Out 2 or something. Like you just know they were considering turning Riley gay or even trans but because she's literally based off of his own daughter, he might've stepped in and supervised them to make sure none of that shit made its way in. Hell, he might've threatened to walk away from Pixar and since he's like the last of the original founders (unless Andrew Stanton's still there), his departure would be the heat death of Pixar instead of the slow, quiet death-spiral it's in.

I dunno. Still not interested in seeing it, I'm just relieved to hear they didn't fuck with this movie like they were the previous titles.
