I didn't have high expectations for Inside Out 2 and the fact it wasn't shit doesn't mean anything to me. It felt like they wanted to repurpose the arc of the first movie while being aware they had spent all venues to do so so you have Joy being right even when she is wrong while being told she doesn't know what she is doing, just to then hear she is right or for the plot to try to make her more relevant right after telling she isn't.

I think it was from the trailer showing the girl reacting to a different kid acting weird. I might've been the instigator of the rumor on this thread but i was wrong.
 
The "Riley is trans" shit came from insane weirdos before the sequel was ever announced, so it was just a natural jump of the gun given Pixar's track record with inserting gay shit into their work lately. Just am glad to be proven wrong, but that was either a fluke or Pete Docter putting his foot down.

tbf if I'm trying to take a bunch of settings from one room to another I'm likely to just take a photo on my phone rather than screenshot it, email it, etc

The leaked synopsis for the pitch has it that Darkwing Duck was caught in a anomaly and ended up in a parallel universe where he was never a superhero. It sounds like one of the typical IP reboots where characters and settings are rewritten into “I’m 14 and this is really sooooooo deep" trash.

I've never been the biggest fan of the Country Bears, but it did have a weird, surreal charm to it. Blood on the Saddle and All the Boys That Turn Me On Turn Me Off were particular highlights. The new one has no charm whatsoever. It's just bears singing Disney songs. Even changing it to add more modern country songs would be OK. It would have kept with the theme at least

But then they'd have to pay licensing fees. Fuck that! Just use their own stuff, then they don't have to pay anybody else.
