Well, at least that answers the longstanding question of how shareholders could allow the CEO and board of so many companies to tank profitability to push the Marxist agenda.

It turns out the shareholders are as woke as the CEO/board and the employees.
Nope. Most shareholders dont vote because their shares are in fund bundles.

The 2 biggest shareholders are Blackrock and Vanguard. Then a litany of globohomo funds and pensionsm If you have a 401k or pension its very likely your money voted for the bullshit to continue. Iger is personal friends with some and uses company funds to wine and dine others. Look at the people on the board. Its a whose who of relatives and wives of bigger fish.

The rest of the big holders are people who got vast clumps of stock so Disney could buy their shit like Lucas. Or people otherwise paid in stock.

Moana at least had the excuse of its sequel originally being an episodic television show. I have no idea what either sequel they're proposing here could work with.
I don't know either personally since Encanto doesn't really have anything to expand upon.

It's only being made because it's like the only sincere hits they had in the new twenties and that is primarily because of the music.

I like it a lot but at this point you're basically feeling darts at the metaphorical Colombian wall for any sequel ideas outside of this focusing on the other side of the family.

Y'know I'm getting old, but I want to know if this will resonate with today's kids in anyway. In the mean time we need some new marketing firms or something because these trailers are not it.
I gave it a watch and the alien portions look technically interesting but outside of that it's a bit meh for me.

Oh, and there's something about the MC's dream of getting abducted by aliens that just rubs me the wrong way. I suppose it has to do with me doing research on the IRL phenomena with the idea of it being a neat thing and slowly realizing that it's something you wouldn't even wish on your own worst enemy.

The moment Disney started making these live-action remake monstrosities is when they became The Asylum-tier. There’s virtually no difference aesthetically between this Snow White remake and something like Sharknado. It’s not just that there's a problem with Rachel Zelger either, Snow White could be played by an actual attractive, talented non-harridan actress but it’d still be garbage. The concept of live action remakes of animated films is a war of bastardization on art itself.

We are so lucky that Disney doesnt own Bee movie or we would get a live action remake of that next...
unironically i loved that "live action" bit Jerry showed people, the movie itself is dogshit (inb4 the ironybros go "no its good") its trash but the concept of him getting his stupid friends together to wear those costumes was probably the funniest thing Jerry has done that wasn't written by larry david.

The movie is awful but it would be very funny if you tried to explain it to someone who has never seen a single bit of it. When you get to the part where the morbidly obese defense lawyer wears a baby toy while the bee sues the human race they'd probably think you're fucking with them,

Having never seen Bee Movie...

...well, when you're right you're right my friend...

What about the bit where the bee draws a direct comparison between humans harvesting bees' honey to the exploitation of blacks by the white man?

Was making Snow White look like Salma Hayek as Frida Kahlo an intentional artistic choice?

What made them decide to go with the horrific extended bowl cut/Lord Farquad haircut?

I mean the 1939 original also had that haircut but it's the kind of the kind of thing that most studio executives realize won't look good in live action and change.

The haircut would've been fine if they didn't do a shit job of it. That strangling hairs and imbalance makes it look messy, they could've experimented with making it more glossy or matte. You can get many cosplay examples of making it look good but it looks like they got a budget hairdresser that only glanced at the references and don't think about how to pull it off properly.
