I've honestly never understood the obsession with gingercide. It's like these murderers literally can't see a ginger without immediately stroking their giant noses and saying "how can we replace this beautiful creature with a fucking ugly ass nigger?"
My guess as to the thought process is as follows
  1. Actual ginger people are rare as fuck IRL and thus there are a miniscule number of halfway competent ginger actors and actresses in the industry, relatively speaking
  2. Actual ginger people are extremely common in works of literary/drawn/animated fiction, adaptations of which tend to draw the baleful eye of OG material fan swarms
  3. Actors and Actresses do not especially like either dying their hair red or spending an entire shoot wearing a wig unless they absolutely have to, especially the more image obsessed ones who don't want to mess up their hair, which gets fed back to the general production pipelines over the years
  4. There is a sharp increase in producers shitting out slop adaptations of literary/drawn/animated fiction for the past decade and a half to the point where the on paper demand for ginger actors/actresses skyrockets even further
  5. The consultancy sphere begin massively pushing muh-diversity schtick for the past decade and a half to the point where racial quotas become unofficially/officially normalised in media land
  6. Producers for new projects go down the casting lists and realise they could kill two birds with one stone by having the redhead played by a nigger or a jeet, and thus pre-emptively chill any backlash to the character not being ginger because said backlash would automatically be denounced en masse as raysiss

7. Jews fucking HATE gingers.

**Lol, I was literally typing this when it popped up another post had been added,

Maybe, but the answer will probably come down to something like red hair is extremely rare amongst Jews and so they see it as an "other" and so it is easy to just see a red-headed character as a black.

I'm hoping the upjumped gender studies DEI hires at Disney just see a black person in the cast and think it's pointless to remake because they can't spit in people's faces by race-bending anyone for the sake of creating shock and outrage.
that didn't stop them from remaking Lilo and Stitch. But Atlantis and Treasure Planet didn't make a profit at the box office, therefore, not as many memberberries. I think it's safe to say they'll be left alone

I'm praying Disney doesn't decide to remake Atlantis. That and Treasure Planet were my favorites as a kid. I can't see Disney doing so. They can't just put the characters in clothes borrowed from Hot Topic and get Pajeet animators to add special effects to a random place they rented, they'd have to do Avatar (the blue aliens, not the element benders) level special effects and they're too cheap to do so.

Ashkenazi Jews are actually more likely to have red hair, and it was often considered a stereotypical Jewish trait in Europe.

The Jewish People

Although the Jewish people are spread across many countries, it is estimated that as many as 10% of Jewish men have red hair or beards. An example is the Ashkenazi Jews, who originally settled in France and Germany during the Middle Ages. Approximately 3.6% of Ashkenazi women and 10% of Ashkenazi men have red hair. According to a study that took place in 1903, approximately 5% of Jews in Poland had red hair, though more current data has yet to become available. Throughout much of Europe, red hair is considered a Jewish trait.
Percentage of Redheads by Country 2025

Really it probably is down to soulless diversity consultants going "Only 4% of the US has red hair, they're disproportionately represented in fiction" while ignoring that black people are only 13% of the population, less than 5% of the population is gay, and less than 1% is trans, yet all of these demographics also get overrepresented in modern media. And of course, ignoring that red hair is visually striking and makes for an appealing character design.

My Jew comment was kind of an edge lord online joke, with a hint of truth. I have always really just considered it to be that Red heads are considered and outsider character. Not like the norm. So it's easy they just switch them to be black or whatever.

I've heard in Snow White that she was called Fairest, not because she was pretty, but because she was literally fair to everyone. Is that true? It's a crime against language.
Ignoring the fact that they did the “beauty on the inside” thing way better with the Hunchback and BatB, that ends up being weird when you consider that the Evil Queen was considered the fairest before Snow White came along. Was the entire kingdom full of dicks, and she happened to be the least dickish of them all?

Well, out out of everyone we see, Snow White never thought about making out with a dead girl (because she’s hot), murdering said dead girl (because she’s hotter than you), or attempting to tear out her heart (only stopping because she was too hot to kill).

Yes, that is what kids want to see in a Disney movie: the main character being banned from certain places because of her skin color.

It's like how Turning Red got memed because a YouTube reviewer brought up how the movie took place in the early 2000s and didn't acknowledge 9/11.
To be fair, Princess and the Frog takes place in early 20th century Louisiana so there's at least some bit of stuff they can do and it's not like Disney shyed away from depicting historical prejudice with both Hunchback having anti-gypsy stuff, Pocahontas being very on the nose about it, and Lilo & Stitch showing how tourists disrespect Hawaii and are really annoying.

Turning Red though is different because that movie explicitly takes place in Canada and why would 2000s Canadian Kids give a shit about what happens in America.

The most I can interpret is that it is from the people's perceptions but again this is overcomplicating a simple fairy tale like how they had to make a whole explanation for Snow White's name coming from her being born during Winter.

Y’know, it’s amazing how much better Disney was at making Diverse Movies when they didn’t make it the main focus of their movies.

As far as the Live Action Remakes, I think the only ones that haven’t been trainwrecks were what, The Lion King and Beauty and the Beast (by virtue of being the first one to get the LAR treatment)? Not exactly a good track record, but if the Rat wants to burn through its Fuck You Money then I’m not gonna stop it.
The second Emma started her auto-tuned warbling in the first song, I had to shut it off. It was physically painful to listen to.

The problem with Rachel is that she embodies the outdated 2010s "Tumblr activist" stereotype—someone who makes their political stance their entire personality, often more for the sake of virtue signaling than genuine conviction.

The bigger issue is that many of these politically driven individuals exist in echo chambers completely detached from reality. The moment they’re confronted with perspectives outside their bubble, they go into full meltdown mode, reacting irrationally and emotionally.

The people defending her on Twitter and Bluesky aren’t doing so because of any real principles—they’re simply trying to signal that they’re "good people," despite holding regressive views in nearly every other aspect.

Compare her to the original Snow White, Adriana Caselotti. Walt Disney was wise enough to keep her out of the public eye, knowing that anything she said or did could potentially harm both the film and Disney’s legacy. While she was effectively bound to Disney for life, the company ensured she was consistently compensated and remained the sole voice of Snow White from 1937 until her passing in 1997.

It’s hard to understand how Disney expects to market Rachel as their next leading princess when she’s this divisive and has yet to prove she can deliver real box office success.

Not sure if it's been posted before, but they didn't expect that. If we go by this comment from instagram/tiktok of the son of one of the producers (Marc Platt), they had to reign her in.

Also, actors are supposed to have non-disparaging clauses in their contracts, I wonder how that's going for Rachel behind the scenes.

Platt was perfectly fine with this cunt and her opinions (he is notoriously anti-trump, even more than your average kike) and only flipped out about the jew shit.

Kikes don't want to admit that Andrew Brietbart was right that only right wingers think jews aren't evil, the "pro-israel left" is as much of a myth as the "pro-apartheid south africa democrat" meaning its almost impossible for someone with that flavor of politics to chose to side with "the bad guys" and could only do so from either complete ignorance of the topic or having a vested interest in it.

literally happened to me in real time earlier today, had a nephew go "did you hear about israel, i just learned about it" and this kid who because of his boomer parents was nominally pro-israel, went and sided with the brown people, the same way he was taught to always side with brown people when it comes to civil rights because public school education teaches about slavery being bad and nelson mandela being good, so obviously the group nelson mandela allied with would also be good to him.

Bill Maher accidently said the truth about this issue years ago on an episode of real time "These liberals are treating israel and Palestine like its a jim crow south style issue" which is what most jews think. basically every single jew sees themselves as the fragile niggerinos and the Palestinians and all muslims as the KKK trying to hurt them, so they're especially pissed when blacks or anyone else with eyes sees it as pasty jewish guys killing brown kids.

I think there needs to be a general purge of theater kids from the culture. Just endless degeneracy, top to bottom (in both senses of the words).

the other was the most fondly remembered and universally beloved of its era.
Stich also got 3 sequels, an animated series, 2 multi season long animes and a manga. The little blue fucker never went away, he's a deceptively lucrative cash cow, because the lilo and stitch formula is perfectly designed to appeal to both boys and girls for obvious reasons.

Girls love a cute little exotic friend that is brooding on the inside that they can fix and boys love the doomslayer in 3 feet tall body except even angrier.

What fucking kills me is that disney has been shitting out spinoffs for the franchise nonstop but nobody had the idea to take the series to its natural continuation and make a grown up lilo work with stitch as intergalactic bounty hunters for genetic experiments. They've been teasing that shit ever since the first movie and like 80 spinoffs later they still haven't done it.

Yeah look at all the hitpieces suddenly made because Zegler said Free Palestine which were also made for any other actor said that. Like these people were fine with anything else except if it is something they don't like.

Not to mention acting like Gal Gadot is the most oppressed woman of all time who needed extra security which give me a fucking break, yeah the lady who sung "Imagine there's no Heaven" during the COVID Lockdowns is this innocent little victim.

Fuck Disney and the horse it rode in on.

Also fuck Platt too since I still remember how he made sure he made a movie so his 30-40 something spoiled son can be immortalized for his performance in a musical he is too old for the leading role in.

Animation actually unironically peaked at Atlantis, Treasure Planet, El Dorado and Sinbad, fight me. Animation should have always been about either blockbusters that don't actually require you to bust the block to produce or stylistically visualizing shit that you have no way to in live action due to either physics or cost.

That set of movies managed to absolutely nail both principles. We went from Atlantis and El Dorado where every frame is a work of art to hyper photorealistic sets with plastic people.

Disney is caving to say that Zegler is the main reason their movie flopped as though the movie itself would've been good without her.
Before word of mouth, they'd have been guaranteed at least an impressive opening weekend just because of the property in question. By actively pissing off the potential audience, they guaranteed people had already decided to give it a miss before it even premiered.
