I've always had a special soft spot for Lady In The Tramp because Peggy Lee is in it. He's A Tramp is such a great song.

Oh fuck, the Indiana Jones ride got brought up. Okay, I just wanna bring this memory up because I swear the ride was renovated since 2002. If my dad's camcorder's batteries didn't die, he might've been able to film the ride instead of part of the queue, so I have to go off by blurry memory because I had my glasses off during the ride.

Didn't there used to be two (neon) cobras in the snake chamber instead of the giant cobra head above the exit? I had sat in the front on the end, so the one cobra animatronic hissed in front of my face. The second one had to have been for the back of the jeep. Any time I've brought this up, no one seemed to have remembered this, they're all like "No, it's always been the one giant one." So does the ride get renovated every once in a while, or what?

I'm not sure if people have seen this but since this is a Disney thread I'm posting it here. This is the best Disney edit video I've ever seen. All the edits and scenes transition perfectly into each other.

That's my favorite AMV, ever.

That reminds me, there's a fan-made Disney trailer or something made by someone who actually makes movie trailers for a living, but I unfortunately can't find it. So I'm just going to instead post that Zootopia parody everyone's probably already seen by now.

This is a deleted scene from Snow White. The animation was completed and the voices were recorded but it was ultimately decided that for pacing reasons either it or Blubble Ubble Um Dum had to go, and it was removed from the film. Personally I prefer this song as really the alternative is pretty trash
.

Still, the song they went with is probably better for the movie, showing more about the Dwarves individual characters instead of them as a group. In short the right choice was made, but I do miss Music in your Soup.

While we're on the subject of deleted things, here's Yzma's deleted villain song from the unmade Kingdom of the Sun. Would have been a great number, if only just because Eartha Kitt was awesome.

Since we're on the subject of Disney songs. I need to post this one.
The song that plays in Bambi when Man returns to the forest to hunt the animals at the end is the most tense song I ever heard in all the Disney films. And the way it increases and builds up makes me nervous when I listen to it. Especially when I remember that it's at the scene where that bird freaks out and gets shot while trying to escape.
Damn.
I can't believe that this film was boring because this song is so intense. Disney's best work are their instrumental ones. I got goosebumps just from listening to this.

Disney is NOT synonymous with family values. Never forget that. Or else.
Also, I ain't been to any of the parks, and I don't feel I've lost anything of value, otherwise.
I've had more fun getting ripped off at Dave & Busters, as of late, not playing the right games.
Hey, maybe someone's family values are hard-nosed commercialism, entertainment monopolies, creative bankruptcy, and merchandising that makes kids hate their parents if they don't get the toy they want and forget about 5 minutes later...

(Generic rant incoming so if you're fed up of people moaning about the live action remakes then skip.) I've just watched the live action teaser for Aladdin having avoided it for a few days because I knew it'd upset me. Having seen the cave of wonders reduced from a magnificent and terrifying, moving head rising from the desert to a sort of budget, mini head that doesn't move stuffed on the side of a cliff, I'm upset. also the kid playing Aladdin looks like a mediocre children's birthday party impersonator. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure he's a good actor but it doesn't matter how good he is, he's gonna get buried underneath Will Smiths desperate attempts to be even a tenth as funny as Robin Williams. Here's an idea Disney, subject the original print to a detailed and loving remastering process, slam an "In Loving Memory of Robin Williams" message at the start, re-release it in cinemas and watch as hordes of people descend on it because it's fucking Aladdin and it's pretty much Disney at it's most perfect then release a special edition BluRay with maybe a few extra features and the less than perfect but still not terrible sequels bundled in. Make all the money.

I'm not going to lie- I'd watch a live action version of The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
But it'd have to be more like the broadway musical.

The Disney broadway version made me wish that Made Of Stone was in the animated one.

I wish that the gargoyles in the animated version had been imagined the way the broadway version did it. As much as I like the Disney animated one, the goofiness kind of ruined it.

People are gonna love Wreckit Ralph 2 for the same reasons they had tantrums about Emoji Movie, mark my words.

I don't think that Wreck it Ralph 2 looks like a good movie. Aside from the jokes in the trailer that are straight out of the Emoji Movie, the movie just looks like the Disney company in a circlejerk, bragging to each other about the licenses they have.

That said ... My inner child is really excited to see the Princesses. I am planning a girls night out with my friends to see it for that very reason. Regardless of how the movie turns out, I'll at least have a fun night out.

We'll see how it turns out. But if it sucks, I will absolutely say that it sucks. I completely agree that a lot of people will give the movie's faults a pass, though.

I'm cautiously looking forward to the Mulan remake, simply because the director has pretty much stated that she's not going to make it a musical, so it's probably going to be a straight-up action and war film (I hope). I love the animated Mulan, but if it's going to be remade, then I don't want it to be a copy of the original. I want a different take on it ...

... Which is why I would LOVE it if they remade Hunchback properly. If Disney would just stay committed to the dark tone (NO GARGOYLES!), I think it would become a much better movie than the original animated one. For me, there's plenty to "fix" with Hunchback, so I think a remake would be justified in this case.

The trailer had Ralph doing the floss dance so Wreck it Ralph 2 will automatically forever be dated as well as connected to the obnoxious Fortnite dance fad.

I hope the direction of the Mulan remake means they're learning from Beauty and the Beast.

Wreck-It Ralph 2 looks and sounds no better than The Emoji Movie. As someone who didn't even like the first one all that much, going near this feels like a bad idea to me. I have to agree that people are only going to like it, because... Disney, despite how much of a bad idea this is coming off to me in every sense.

I know I'm not saying much (Sorry for doublepost) when I say..... And that sucks ass.

There have been rumors floating around that they may bring a version of that ride to Florida in the Animal Kingdom park, replacing the Dinosaur ride (which has the same exact layout despite its theme). I'll be surprised if they don't end up reusing any of the displaced Indy props/animatronics from the Great Movie Ride.

I had hopes because of the teaser trailer, But now I am worried, cause of the memes and zomg cat videos.

Honestly, looking back on it, the first movie doesn't exactly hold up either, and a good chunk of criticism that can be applied to this movie can be applied to its predecessor too (mostly barebones plot, advertising relying more on on its selling point more than its plot- i.e. the game cameos, Vanellope's obnoxiousness). I feel the only difference is how it's executed- The first film tried and has the benefit of being the only Disney film to have a good twist villain. Whereas Breaks the Internet is about as predictable as it comes.

I'll wind up seeing it, as I caught the first film in theaters on opening day (yeah yeah, point and laugh). But I don't think it'll be a fun experience. At least not from what I've seen from the trailers thus far.

Disney HAD their live action Aladdin. And then it got replaced with Frozen.
