Do any Kiwis watch Lets Players and have any Kiwis watched a Lets Play to completion? - Do any Kiwis watch Lets Players and have any Kiwis watched a Lets Play to completion?

I used to watch a shit ton of theRadBrad. I completed a shit ton of his let's plays...

Haven't seen another video in years. I rather play the games myself.

There are some pretty obscure ones, like DaveTheUsher's Tokyo Jungle let's play that prompted me to buy the game. Or Batesee whose videos I binge sometimes. He sadly quit about 2 months ago.

I used to watch Chuggaaconroy a lot but got really bored sometime during his Xenoblade let's play. Right now I watch John Wolfe, he's a pretty cool dude.

Chuggaaconroy and some other guy but I forgot his name. In any case, I've watched Chuggaa's Paper Mario 2 series about 3 or 4 times now not counting this current viewing.

Joel and GG Gab. I've watched some of theRadBrad's LPs and bigmacdavis's LPs.

Too many to list from me... SGB and Brainscratch Commentaries are some of the best. However, I only really use it all as background noise and nothing else.

I think I only ever watched a particularly humorous Amnesia: The Dark Descent playthrough to completion. I'll occasionally also watch most Elder Scrolls gameplay from Mans1ay3r, Sorenova, Vidiots and Wilburgur.

Occasionally, when I have time, Xcalizorz does good playthroughs of games. He's got skills when it comes to games, and his commentary is pretty good, though that depends on your tastes.

I watch Gopher... shamefully, almost like a religion. The man could narrate the back of a frozen pizza box and I'd listen to him.

I watch Scott Manley similarly. Less because of his amazing narration or anything, though, and more just the man is almost always talking about something genuinely interesting. Sometimes even educational.

I watch Markiplier, Jesse Cox, or Jacksepticeye when they do a Let's Play that I want to see but don't want to buy/play myself, for whatever reason. Primarily horror games, which I just don't have the nervous system to play myself. They're a little too excitable and zaney for my tastes, but they're better than most other options I've found. They all seem like reasonably nice folks, too, rather than raging assholes or drama queens or living trainwrecks.

Before they were cool, I watched Research Indicate's Tresspasser series, which I still say is probably the single greatest Let's Play of all time.

I watch some of the yogscast gta5, civ 5 and ttt games. When they do solo letsplays, they're beyond boring but together, they're hilarious (and terrible at everything)

Yeah. The only one I can really tolerate solo is Sjin (As a minecraft loser, I used to watch his building videos), but they do have chemistry together. So does Hat Films. But they don't do communal Let's Plays, sadly, unless you count the Civilization channel they run.

One more example I can think of: ARavingLoon - especially his Longplays on Chrono Trigger, Bahamut Lagoon, and Final Fantasy 8. He seems pretty chill, even if a bit crazy.

I watch speedruns sometimes, which are usually technically lets plays. On rare occasion I watch longplays too. Used to do it more when I had more free time but I was never up for "hooting dickhead doesn't actually know anything about the game" style LPs, a few were acceptable but the player had to be really funny.

Game Grumps, SBFP, RoosterTeeth, Markiplier, and occasionally SuperMega, OneyPlays and JackSepticEye

Used to watch Uberhax0rnova, SSoHpkc, and Kootta let's plays. I watched most to completion, unless it was game like skyrim or some shit that wad 500 episodes long. I currently only watch HCbailly.

It's kinda strange. Letsplay kinda refers to an unprofessional style where people play blind but people that have great editing and an autistic knowledge of the game or even scripted content also call themselves letsplayers. The line between walkthrough, letsplay and guide is very muddy.

I'd say my favorites are Chuggaaconroy, Pewdiepie, Jontron and Oxhorn are my favorites. I don't get the appeal of poorly edited videos where people bumble around and don't say anything interesting.

The closest thing I watch to a Let's Play is Funhaus. Their best content is Demo Disk where they play old demo disks from the 90's-2000's and end each episode browsing rule 34 roughly related to the content (censored obviously). There's also the old Sims 3 playthroughs when they were Inside Gaming.

I recently watched the entirety of SuperGreatFriend's LP of Deadly Premonition. It was REALLY good and went through every sidequest and piece of content the game had, saving me the trouble of playing a game I probably wouldn't have the patience to complete but had the desire to watch.

SuperGreatFriend is a pretty good LPer in general as well so I'd recommend people who like more chill content check him out.

Unless you count Dunkey, I only watch LPs occasionally. Although, I have watched Jacksepticeye’s Stick of Truth playthrough to the end.

I watch them when I have a hard time sleeping because I know that if I fall asleep I won't miss anything important and I'll still be mildly entertained. I normally watch games I never plan on playing myself, or really old-school games that I haven't heard about. Kikoskia is probably my favorite.

I watch Lets Plays as secondary entertaiment on a second monitor while playing other stuff/surfing the web. Channels I like:
HCBailly
Kikoskia
Deceased Crab

Chuggaaconroy and some other guy but I forgot his name. In any case, I've watched Chuggaa's Paper Mario 2 series about 3 or 4 times now not counting this current viewing.
Chugga, while his commentary may be obnoxious to some, is probably the Let's Player I respect the most on youtube. He only plays games for his channel that he genuinely enjoys, and goes out of his way to show everything the game has to offer. He has a lot of respect for the hard work game developers put into the games he makes, and puts a lot of effort himself into inserting graphics and info dumps. Definitely a notch above the rest who play Flavor of the Month games for easy views.
