Do you come to KF for the lolcows?

I've always been fascinated by the weirdness of people online, I used to lurk here back when it was the CWCki Forums since I started following the Chris chan shit around the Liquid Chris saga. Then real life happened, I came back and it was called Kiwi Farms, lurked a bit more and then felt a sudden need to scratch my itch for the old days of just posting on a forum.

So in short I came here for the cows and started posting because I missed the old mid-2000's forum experience.

Not since Chris dried up. I keep tabs on the occasional cow every now and again, but really I'm here because it's the last good forum on the internet.

I came because its one of the few places that remind me of the old internet before everything gets so censored and heavily moderated.

like back in those days its just "have common sense" on whats acceptable and whats not.
and everything in between was allowed.

Nowadays... everywhere else is so... restrictive.

Came here for YandereDev, stayed for shitposting.

The Salon is my favourite area of KF because it's like the only space on the site where tons of women gather together to make fun of other women. As a guy, there's something beautiful about being able to shitpost about a mentally ill fat woman alongside other women. I feel like we could end all the sexism in the world if we all just banded together to make fun of other people on the internet.

I don't come to kiwifarms for the lolcows, I come here for the people. Some folks might think this is odd, coming to a public board to post such things. After all, no-one knows us and can't judge us. But the truth is that I spend so much time on the boards that I have nothing else to do. It's like being on another planet. I live in a small town in NZ, which is a pleasant enough place, but has no entertainment in it. And so I have made my own entertainment, because I love talking to people and people love talking to me. When I'm on the public board, I talk to the people and to their kids. I chat to their kids and to the grownups. The grownups, in turn, start to tell me their stories and their thoughts on things. I chat to their kids again and their parents. When I'm on a site, which isn't public, I'll often see who's visiting the boards, and talk to them

If you are here for Articles and Happenings you are the lowest form of life in the universe and I hope God one day scrapes you off the bottom of His sandal.

i know a bit about lolcows, mostly the major ones that have their own boards but also a few rat kings, but im not knowledgeable on many others.
i think i'll be talking more in off-topic, honestly.

At this point, no not really.
I mainly come here to read the off-topic subforum. This site seems to have much more meaningful discussion on topics I'm interested in than pretty much any social media site. I also think the forum format just works better for serious discussion. Too bad that every other forum on the internet is either dead or moved to a shitsite like Reddit or Discord.

Came here because regular media was too censored & just generally uninteresting. Stayed because the Salon/Lolcow shitposting was hilarious

Honestly, no. The only reason why I even bothered creating an account was Null disabling registration after the ILJ saga, and even then I'm only using this account to keep tabs on a couple of threads from the Games forum. Lolcows are a good distraction to read through, but putting my time and effort following them just seems like a waste of my time; Kiwi Farms' magic for me is being able to read whatever opinion someone might have without fearing a ban for being a complete dickhead.

I came for the cows; I stayed for the news and camaraderie.
