Does anyone else post here that doesn't really care about lolcows

I find lolcows funny but the definition of a lolcow is: A person whose eccentric or foolish behaviour can be exploited to amuse onlookers. There seems to be more than a few people that exhibit disturbing behaviour rather than amusing behaviour.

I would enjoy lolcows more but it's too difficult to navigate the site and I hate reading because I'm almost illiterate. If the threads were not full of useless people making useless comments on boring things then it would be a lot more engaging

Agree with this. It's pretty difficult to read up on a certain cow from the beginning and see all the pertinent events that unfolded because it seems the highlight feature is mostly used for funny comments or jokes. If it was restricted only to be used on posts with pertinent information or updates I wouldn't mind so much.

Kind of, I guess. I came for Chris and stayed for the cynical right-leaning 30 year old boomers. The only lolcows I follow are Chibi and a little bit of Yaniv.

There are a lot of reddit refugees that were just interested in politics that joined during/after the election shit show. So yeah, there are people who don't care about lolcows.

One particular lolcow drew me to make an account on here. Then some of the threads ended up giving me a feeling I've been missing for well over a decade from 4chan: Casual discussion, decent banter, and a healthy enough dose of shitposting so as not to be overbearing.

A couple of cows are fun to check in on every now and then, but I don't particularly care about them most of the time.

I'm mostly interested in the Furry general, Glip, SJW art and A&H threads. I check Chris Chan's thread after a week cuz his thread is mostly spergs saying the same 5 jokes over.

I think even if you start out on this website mostly caring about only one cow or none of then you'll eventually be drawn in to at least click around and check out the current news on a few of the more prominent ones. I wouldn't say I follow Amberlynn Ried or Ethan Ralph actively but I'll still take a look at what's going on with them every so often.

I think there's a divide between the users obsessed with cows and those who just treat them kind of like a side show. I've had some people just straight up act weird if you mention you aren't actively following one cow.

Not really into the individual cows. Used to follow Chris, but he's not funny anymore. Mostly for some news, some communities (the RetardEra thread is a favourite), and the odd bit of music and video game talk.

Some of the cow's histories and threads are so long and deep I'd never get through the tangle and get a good grasp of what happened from the beginning at this point.

Came by because the politics didn't reflect the rest of the interwebs, then stayed for the lolcows, the shitposting, and some insightful Kiwi effort-posting. Eventually just contently nestled down in the off-topic threads even though elements of laughing at lolcows still seep in those threads.

There are a couple of cows that I still follow on Animal Control and Internet Famous. But usually, I find the Off-Topic section more interesting.

There are some lolcows I find interesting, the ones who are far gone in their minds. I’ve always had a fascination with crazy people and their manifesto type writing/talking.
The other ones are the ones who came on here trying to act like a tough guy/girl, only to become a lolcow(see @aediot as a prime example).

I've had a few brief forays into the various cows like Kevin, Chantal, and some older ones I was previously aware of like Carl Benjamin, Stefan Molyneux et al, but for the most part I don't really give a shit. There's something weirdly autistic and unsavoury about people commenting on the infinitesimal details of some loser's life, as if they're barely a shade above it. I reckon you have to be given to more-than-occasional Schadenfreude to really enjoy it, something which I just can't jive with.

The 'group' threads like the various ones devoted to troons are a little different, as they don't require any pre-reading or foreknowledge to enjoy. Just open the thread, see some insane shit, laugh/be disgusted at it, then you're done.

I saw the Wendy's Era part 1 Documentary on CobraFS or whatever his name is: Josh/Goth King Cobra. Was kind of sad, I've only known of him recently and seeing him as a younger autistic kid having a hard time in life was depressing as fuck.

I think one of the reasons I don't spend too much time with the cows is how depressing it all is, and I'm already depressed enough just living in clownworld. At least mocking and laughing about dumb shit in the general thread, deathfats, and A&N isn't serious and can be funny.

If I wanted to laugh at cows, I'd just look at lore videos. The threads here aren't daunting, but I see a pantheon of spergs and the first thought that comes to mind, especially when I see the goddamn pages, is "I really don't have the time for this."

I'd be glad to move in, and help prosper threads (like that Connor Murphy thread). However, one those babies take off, au revoir.

Besides, Community Watch and Internet Famous, and their ilk are all just General Lolcow Board-lite.

I've lurked numerous cow threads since the website began; internet weirdos are always good for a laugh during hurry up and wait periods. But I'm too much of a pussy and usually wind up sympathizing with / feeling bad for the cows, so I mostly refrain from posting in those threads.

Kind of off topic but I never heard of kiwi farms until null starting streaming on stream.me (rest in peace) I only knew of steam.me through metokur and the gunt, and now everything has come full circle. I hope the farms stays healthy for a long time because I have no idea what website I'd use.
