Does Barb talk to anyone?

Aside from her dear sweet sondaughter, does Barb regularly talk to anyone? It's been suggested by people who knows these kinds of things that she is far less mobile than she used to be. Even hoardly treasures go unclaimed at local goodwill stores now. So apart from Chris and the occasional State Farm rep, does she do anything these days?
 
I feel like we had a discussion similar to this in the past, like if Barb talks much at all. We know from Chris that her family doesn't talk to her and I highly doubt she has tea time or bridge nights with people her age.
I'm gonna say no.

Good question. I can't think of any recent data on this. Is she still being treated for scabies? Does that involve talking to doctors? I suppose we'll have to have an on-the-sly answer from Those In The Know.

Related question: Just how mobile is Barb? We've been told Barb isn't yet bedridden, but that she isn't much better. Is that still accurate?

LOL, I would pay serious money to see Barb give an in-depth commentary on her opinion of people on Maury Povich, Judge Judy, and so on. She might do more than a little projecting.

If she recorded it, her videos would be more popular than Chrissy's.
 
I image Barb as sitting around ranting about everyone who's ever "wronged" her and maybe poor Chris in the past but otherwise just fairly silent unless she tells Chris to go fetch some food or whatever. Oh, and she uses guilt trips for it as well like the spaghetti story.
 
Only people Barb talks to is the employees at wherever she is (if she goes out). She doesn't talk to her family or anything. Her family didn't even contact her when their house burned down; granted maybe they didn't know about it, but still. The fact that they are so distant that they potentially didn't help or even know about the house fire... it's telling. I see my large family maybe 20 days out of the year (holidays/birthdays maybe) and I guarantee you that in 48 hours after my house burned down, not only would everyone know without me telling them, but I'd have food, clothes, and a place to stay for a few days; AND my pets would have a safe home until I could find a new place. I'm not even sure Chris's family knows what happened unless they found out from trolls. According to Chris, his family has hated them ever since his Aunt died and the funeral was over. So, no, I'd guess that Barb talks to no one buy Chris and employees of places they go.

EDIT: but that's not without trying. chris says barb wants to see or talk to cole and he wants nothing to do with them... so it's probably not because she doesn't want to talk to family, it's that the family doesn't want to talk to her.
 
She may occasionally mumble absentmindledly to a q-sand in her greasy fingers. A single tear running down her cheek as memories from bygone days run through her mind... (:_(

Besides Chris I think very few people talk to her. Maybe a few members of their church feel obliged to call or visit every once in a while, especially after their house burned down. That's pretty much it. It's pretty much Chris 24\7 for poor ol' Barb.
 
Cole won't talk to Barb because she spent his childhood abusing him and dating multiple men, never saying which one was his father. She never visited him and she lied to him constantly.
I think that Chris just wants Cole to talk to hee so he doesn't have to hear her bitch about Snyder, Megan, and the evil kuerig company.
She spent her whole life doing what she wanted and pushed people away. She didn't want Cole, so she just hung out with other men. When Chris was a baby she wanted to party with Bob so she left him with evil babysitter. Ten years ago she made spaghetti and nobody ate it so she thew a fit and never cooked for her family again.
But she has Chris, Oedipus complex in action, she raised hee special child to be for life. When he grew his hair long and dressed like , she thought that he was going to turn gay and, as Chris said, kill her, so she made him sit sown and cut his hair to look like a toddler.

To sum it up, she created this mess herself. The scabies that feed on her deserve better.
