Asking Chris to build a very advanced LEGO structures is like asking DSP to execute a death combo in Tekken using Lili. It's not going to happened.

I still used Duplo when I was 7...MysticMisty said:Chris has obviously worked with sets that create specific objects (City appears to have been his favorite to create CWCville prior to Lego Friends), but he seems to prefer random buckets. Random buckets pretty much are for when you want to be creative! but don't care if it looks good or not.
Ah Duplo, literally Legos for babies (or close enough). While I suppose you can give them to kids (and adults) to retarded to be trusted with proper Legos, I guarantee any normal kid 5 and older caught with Duplo is likely to get their ass kicked.
If you're willing to attempt one of the Architecture sets, you're leagues beyond Chris' level. I've said this before, and I'll say it again: Chris' Lego maturity is roughly that of a 5 or 6 year old. He doesn't care what the random stuff he makes looks like because in his mind, it's perfect. It doesn't bother him the colors and pieces don't match or properly work well together because he made it and mommy and daddy loved it. Sure he's actually put together some sets, but he doesn't seem to care about them like he does his own creations: they're just there to fill in CWCville.Coffee Overdose said:Confession time. I still play with legos and lego architecture. I have a huge hard-on for this stuff and I go crazy over it.
Someone gave me the lego Taj Mahal a few years ago.
I still haven't finished it x__x

Damn, that's a good point. I remember Bob stating that Chris had a hard time "understanding Australia," like there's something more to understand than a continent in the Southern Hemisphere.
I wonder what Chris would think about the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
Leaning Tower of Pisa; pizza is enjoyed by a man in Delaware; Little Caesars serves pizza; Zeus worshipped in ancient Rome; thunder and lightning thrown by Zeus; tornadoes; Wizard of Oz starring Judy Garland; gay men enjoy this movie.Da Pickle Monsta said:I wonder what Chris would think about the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
Ahem, Jupiter was worshipped by the Romans, RoJERKS as Chris would put it. Apologies for OTKosher Dill said:Leaning Tower of Pisa; pizza is enjoyed by a man in Delaware; Little Caesars serves pizza; Zeus worshipped in ancient Rome; thunder and lightning thrown by Zeus; tornadoes; Wizard of Oz starring Judy Garland; gay men enjoy this movie.Da Pickle Monsta said:I wonder what Chris would think about the Leaning Tower of Pisa.

Chris fails it with just the basic lego brick. So advanced sets? No. No. Not even. No.

I always thought kids liked Legos because with a bunch of tiny identical pieces you could build whatever you imagined (in theory), which I assume is why they like Minecraft so much. But when they're custom-made to replicate a famous building or scenario then there's no creativity involved any more, it's just a kid putting specific pieces together in a specific order. What's fun about that?
