@KinderMoose has sent me a 4.6GB archive of the KingRaven Madcast videos.

I have been looking for these for literally 10 years. These videos are at least that old (they were archived in May 2014), but many are probably older than the Kiwi Farms. They've been gone, completely scrubbed from the Internet. I have even tried personal army'ing the entire forum more than once to find these lost videos. Nobody's found them. KinderMoose says he had to bully an IRL friend to pull out an old spinning disk drive to find these. They literally did not exist in a format connected to the Internet until a day ago.

At some point, KingRaven started getting IRL trouble because of these videos. I remember there was one (1) time I tried to watch him live, after they had been taken down, to ask why the Madcast videos were gone. The people in chat said Raven was getting trolls calling his job (I think a University in Florida?) telling them about the niggering he was doing on the Internet.

Unfortunately for him, I don't care. I have desperately wanted to find these videos. I think they're from around 2011~2013. During this time, 14 long fucking years ago, I had just joined the Dota 2 beta as one of the first players. This was a GOLDEN ERA for Dota in a way i can't really equate to anything else. The amount of videos put out by the community were insane and insanely high quality (Witch Doctor Sings a Song, and an animation of a 2013 esports moment simply called "The Play" because of how awesome it was).

But on the flip side of high quality fan videos was rage content. Dota 2 in this early, formative era was very, very frustrating to play. It was very slow paced, routinely lasted an hour each game, and mistakes were punished very severely. In particular, the game emphasized good picks. Out of the dozens of existing characters, it was very important to make sure your team picked 5 characters that complemented each other and beat the enemy team's composition. If you pick poorly, you could do very well in the early game, only to hit mid- to late-game and hit a brick wall simply because the enemy has a superior composition. Imagine how frustrating it must be to play very well for 20 minutes, only to slowly start losing over 40 minutes because you didn't make initial good decisions, finish early enough, or because your teammates started coordinating poorly.

I made friends in this game at this time that I still know today. We still reference these fucking videos. I'd like to share with you perhaps my favorite 'lolcow' video of all time.

(P.S. One of the best things about this is that the enemy team won with 2 disconnects. It is literally 3v5 with players on the smaller team managing the idle players's characters simultaneously.)

YOU FUCKING KIDS LET A HERO NOBODY'S FUCKING PLAYING WALK THE FUCK UP AND CAST A SPELL ON YOU IDIOTS!

makes me wonder what are on my own old hard drives.... excellent work to you KinderMoose

It's really hard to date these videos but one of the last ones was put out in 2013. It's really likely most of these are older than the forum.

In-compre-fucking-hensible!
(this isn't a one word reply)

This guy sounds like a Sopranos character that would appear for 1 episode then get killed

I remember KingRaven from the old HoN days. Absolutely hilarious videos like this one:
Raven gets shitblasted off the map; 4-14 swiftblade big newb; daggius shoutcasts
IIRC daggius was the channel that Madcast was hosted on, he purged almost all the videos of Raven.

edit: I'm trying to find some info now that my interest is renewed and I've found this story of Raven apparently driving some HON esports caster into oblivion, because apparently he scratched his balls on stream and Raven sent that to his parents.

The caster in question was Zyori, he transferred to Dota for a few years before trooning out and moving into shilling various crypto projects.

He put a LOT of effort into deleting every instance of the "Sniff sniff" video posted online for years and wrote about the experience here: https://zyori.tv/sniffsniff/ (Archive: https://archive.is/X5RiA )
